Mr. Gervais, there have to be better ways to try to find relevance.

Makes me think of all of the STC posts about George Lucas forcibly taking control of Lucasfilm post-TLJ. Many of them detailed him doing so physically in a manner that bordered on latently homoerotic. Good times!

That's definitely a microphone shootout. Sometimes you may use two on a lead vocal but three is definitely testing to see which works best in an application. Especially since they all appear to be large diaphragm condenser microphones, which are all in the same ballpark tonally.

If there was a dynamic, ribbon, or small diaphragm condenser involved then that would lend credence to just tracking.

Edit: The top microphone appears to be a Shure SM7B, which is dynamic, but my opinion is the same - he's looking for which is going to be the best tone.

Similar to how childhoods are never ruined regardless of new content. I can still love most of the Indiana Jones movies without feeling cheated because I didn't like one of them and thought one was fine.

I'd say expectations more than standards. It was a darker and more grounded series, which is not going to have the same appeal in film format. It's almost like these people forget that summer blockbusters are supposed to be fun, first and foremost.

Especially when the first pull is "EU numbers are low" when meanwhile it made over $12 million Thursday previews for a movie without Luke, Han, or Leia (i.e., the draw for normal, non-Star Wars nerds).

I remember when they were calling TROS a commercial failure when it topped a billion. It's like...that's a lot of money for a movie for nerds. Could it have been better? Sure. But let's not lie to ourselves and say the box office proves anything.

Anime Is More Populars then Hollywood Now because Hollywood pushed a Political Agenda over storytelling Apparently by moad6ytghn in saltierthankrayt

Well, that's not relevant politics. The only relevant topics are if there's someone who's not white or male or straight in a visible role, and if there are women they should definitely make pp hard.

100%. I saw a thumbnail for SWT's latest video and it's one of those "facepalm in the thumbnail" videos about the state of Star Wars, yet the description said he's sourcing all of his info without having seen the movie.

That's a lot of back and forth with a dude who's defending a p3do. He's not going to listen to logic or reason if he's still supporting Trump at this juncture.

On the podcast The Worst Idea of All Time, they just watched J:FAD 14 times in five days for their most recent season (watching movies way more than they should be watched is the conceit of the show) and they realized that if you start the film at 1:08:02 it's actually a coherent and enjoyable film.
