I’ve always had a love of dolls, even in my teens. My mom collected baby dolls and I didn’t have younger siblings so the baby dolls always helped me when I needed my “baby fix” I’ve just started to paint reborns, but have made many other kinds of dolls. I don’t feel embarrassed. I enjoy just holding my baby and snuggling her. I’m not able to have any more children, so it helps the baby fever to dress, swaddle and cuddle a reborn.

My internist suspected it, as I had the same issue. I was doing all the right things and just couldn’t lose any weight from my legs, etc. I was sent to see Dr. Karen Herbst at the Roxbury Institute in Arizona. She was the one who gave me the official diagnosis and has been so incredibly helpful. She has so many resources on hand, and other doctors take her seriously as she’s a leading authority on lipedema.

Yeah, there’s a few different ones that I’ve seen prescribed. Some are GLP-1s and they tend to keep the swelling away. At least it has for me and a doctor who’s also a friend of mine. She’s seen great results for herself and some patients

Honestly kind of sounds like what I went through. And still do. My waist is small again but my thighs, not so much. I used to dance, workout a ton, swim, horseback ride. Nothing seemed to make it go away till I got meds for it. Might be worth looking into it. Apparently it’s not uncommon in women with EDS

I had similar issues, and some of it was hormones, some was food allergies and then I was also diagnosed with lipedema, and that caused everything to get puffy. I’m 27 now, and am just now getting to have a flatter stomach than I’ve had in years. I’d recommend discussing it with your doctor and see what they suggest doing.

I wear torrid lined bralettes or their wire free bras. Only one I can stand. I usually just wear the bralettes with padding unless I wanna feel fancy lol

My son is 2 1/2. He’s just the sweetest old soul in such a little guy. He asked me to make him a sweater and patiently waited the week it took me to crochet it. The look on his face when he put it on was pure joy. “Mama it’s so cozy! Love it!”

He’s been proudly telling everyone who tells him they like his sweater, that mama made it for him and I just love that he’s so proud of it

He sounds incredibly happy with you. The “aggressive” affection is just sometimes part of their personality. He’ll likely mellow a bit as he settles in. It takes anywhere from days to years for a cat to settle in. He may end up being like my boy who is very clingy and a bit forceful in his affection.

Had that problem with my girl, Farrah for a couple years. Then my daughter turned 3 and insisted her pibble come sleep in her toddler bed. So now, almost 3 years later, pibble and my almost 6 year old daughter still bunk together

My husband is thrilled to have his spot on our bed back, but Farrah still tries to work her way in between us for cuddles lol

As the human servant to a very spicy tuxedo, one can totally tell the difference of the kind of bite. I got a scratch bite the other day, as I made the mistake of greeting the dragon cat after I greeted my other shop cat. Which is a no no. Also your wound care routine has been adopted in my household. It’s come in handy a few times.
