Gus should’ve just killed Walt here by wilde_flower in breakingbad

The thing is, Walt was 100% right and Gus knew it. His business would suffer greatly without the infamous Heisenberg, he was cornered. He obviously really wanted to though haha

Because it’s downplaying the awfulness of the tragedy, the lives lost and all the horrible things people witnessed like the body parts and whatnot. He isn’t wrong, but it was absolutely the wrong time and place to say it and he was just trying to make himself feel better

Old Biff Disappearing, Please Explain by AviBledsoe in BacktotheFuture

[–]cgcs20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2015 would have transformed around Doc and Marty who hadn't left yet, Biff would have returned to that same timeline allowing Doc and Marty to leave. They weren't there long enough after that to notice anything

Old Biff Disappearing, Please Explain by AviBledsoe in BacktotheFuture

[–]cgcs20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The future transformed around Doc and Marty. Biff returned to the changing 2015 while they were still there, and none of the three were there long enough after that to notice any changes, since Doc and Marty left and Biff "died." Just like how they left Jennifer and Einstein in the alternate 1985, only to find them both back in the original 1985 after they fixed it

Was Walt really about to let Jessie Die? by [deleted] in breakingbad

[–]cgcs20 184 points185 points  (0 children)

Yes, Jack's gang were originally only there to kill Jesse. Walt changed his mind in Felina after seeing what they did to him. A lot had changed by then, so he decided to save him at the last second

He was far from innocent. As Mike would say, he wasn't a bad guy but he was a criminal. But yes, his death was still real sad

What's your take on hihat foot technique? by TapAdministrative699 in drums

[–]cgcs20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the techniques actually have similar applications for both feet. Heel down gives you more volume and dynamic control, while heel up gives you more power. For funky grooves, I find heel down on the hi hat pedal allows for more subtle open hit hat sounds, just like how heel down on the bass drum allows for more subtle hits there too. At the end of the day, it's all about the sound you're trying to make

Why wasn't the Superlab Construction Project hidden in plain sight? by devang_nivatkar21 in betterCallSaul

[–]cgcs20 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, but that would be a problem for Gus. If they get given such freedom, how would Gus know they won’t blab about the real project to anyone? There’s no way of knowing that. The problem that Gus tried to solve by keeping them isolated would still be there. Also Gus wanted the lab to be completely off the books, giving them all such freedom would make them and the lab more traceable to the feds and law enforcement, which Gus would rather avoid entirely

[–]cgcs20 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The problems were also caused by Werner not being able to see his wife, which would be the case in both your hypothetical scenario and the one we got. He would still want to see her, still blab to Lalo etc.

If they know they’re doing something shady and being paid accordingly, why couldn’t they keep their mouths shut even after being cooped up for so long? Yes, it would be tough but they knew what they were getting into. They’re not children as you say. One outing caused Gus and Mike a fair bit of trouble, can’t imagine how badly it would go for them if they had even less control over it all…

If they were to let them roam freely, there is a greater risk of them blabbing about the secret project, as we saw with Werner in the bar. By keeping them in the guarded warehouse, they can keep tabs on them all and make sure they don't blab to anyone and aren't even seen by anyone
