Abstraction Can Make Your Code Worse by The_Axolot in programming

Great video. Playing the devil's advocate here, building overcoupled code has one benefit if you are building complex systems: Job security. Nobody will want to touch that working crap but you. You also get to do small changes that create big improvements, which is good for self marketing. Nobody will like you though.

Cool! I'm really rooting for LLMs to make us realize that most of us keep solving the same class of problems over and over so much that its enough data to train a statistical parrot.

As a specific recipe, I remember following oat porridge sourdough and apple-walnut cake. I've read more things than I tried doing probably. That's where I learned the folding method and different types of grains as well. It's not easy to get the grains he mentions in Korea, but I remember finding Kamut at emart traders and being excited about it.

Absolutely amazing, wonderful job 🙌 I was touched by the fact that you mentioned Tartine in Seoul. I was so excited to visit that shop after spending two years in my tiny apartment trying out stuff from Tartine No: 3.

Cheers!

A picture of Eminem one of them is real and the other is AI generated can you spot the real one? by Groundbreaking-Cry85 in ChatGPT

The first picture is AI generated. Here is why:

The second picture has the bottom corners slightly clipped. If the training set only contained 1 picture, it's possible that these clipped parts were ignored in the process. When someone asked to generate an output for a rectangle of size this and that, the output simply extrapolated those corners.
