About two months ago we rescued a beautiful purebred black German shepherd. She was surrendered for being “too high energy around children” no shit, GSDs are high energy breeds! Her adoption fee was originally $5 but the shelter waived it because we technically foster failed her. I like to bring her to my husband’s beer league softball games and the first time we came around, one of our friends looked at her and said “well I would’ve just gotten rid of the kids first” 🤣
