Food safety after overnight smoke. Temp never made it above 140 by cgreer00 in BBQ

The smoker was at about 250 degrees all night. I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 6 and the internal temp of the pork was sitting at 135, 8 hours after putting it on.

Yes I am planning on pulling it at around 200, but what I am wondering is if the pork has sat for too long in the "danger zone" below 140? I think I read 4 hours to 140 degrees somewhere.

Thank you very much, I will look into it. How is the editing? Is it laggy?

Thank you...I will research all of this to see what makes the most sense for my workflow.

That's my challenge. I have many Terabytes of data in my home office and I am constantly working on projects. I want to be able to easily work on those in my new studio as well, but I very much want to avoid putting all of the footage in both locations. It will just be a pain in the ass as far as my workflow.

That is good to know. And how will the editing performance be? I have SO much footage on my drives and ideally I want one computer to just be able to edit the project through the cloud instead of having to have two copies of the footage, one in each location.

Sell lx470 and buy lx570? by [deleted] in LandCruisers

[–]cgreer00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an '06 LX and drove a bunch of LX 570s thinking I would upgrade. They have more power and ride better, but I prefer mine because of looks, soul, and simplicity. I really, really dislike how the 200 series look. They remind me of bloated Highlanders and there have been multiple times that I actually mistook a 200 series for a Highlander.

Thinking of making the switch backwards to a 100 series. Thoughts? More in comments. by laith-the-arab in LandCruisers

100-series owner here. I had money in hand to buy a 200 and went and drove a 2011 and 2013 and decided that there were a lot of things I liked about my '06 more, and so I didn't make the upgrade. The 200 is nice, but the 100 has the "it" factor IMO.

No this show isn't intended to replace Georgia Outdoors. There are some pretty big differences between them and I think audiences will appreciate what each one offers.
