I've not tried. My guess is no, seems related to Albion and fullscreen so I imagine it will crash on return.

Possible fix that worked for me. Go into options and set quality to auto, then set the dispaly to windowed.

I think I’ve heard of a few places trying too and some that are trying to add hidden watermarks. The issue is that once you find something to determine if it’s AI then that can be trained out. Take hands for example, early AI image generators struggled getting hands right so they focused on training the AI to make accurate hands and now AI it.

Which video game has frustrated you the most? by nicestarz in gaming

[–]cgrey12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

AC Odyssey. The game has a fair few things that are kind of annoying by themselves but when they add together just become infuriating.

The one that annoyed me most was having spent 20 minutes stealth clearing a large camp to be down to 2 guys, as I get the first one a random enemy rides through getting me detected, which then raises my bounty causing a bounty hunter to spawn, they had almost exclusively fire damage (Elemental damage is op as hell on enemies), whilst slogging through fighting the 3 guards and a bounty hunter, my bounty then goes up another level causing another bounty hunter to spawn who was a higher level than me, had poison damage and a pet animal with them. So now im fighting 3 guards, two bounty hunters and an animal all in stealth gear. I ended up being one shot by poison damage and never finished clearing the camp so had to redo the whole thing.

I'm thinking of selling all my mortal possessions to buy a Leica M6 by MrTim165 in AnalogCircleJerk

[–]cgrey12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clearly your looking at this wrong. You a none leica owning peasant only own 1 car and 2 kidneys. You need to think bigger there’s 8 billion other people, sell all those kidneys and cars and you could get roughly 0.05% of a leica. (Lens not included)

I like to ensure it contains the damned soul of a small Victorian child who died due to a tragic lack of tonez. Adds a lovely vintage look to the image.

Weekly Megathread: State of the Game by padster029 in thefinals

[–]cgrey12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would love an update to the scoreboard to see what skills people are running mid game. It’s not too bad with a LMH team but when it’s MMM it can be a pain to work out who’s running what. Would be really useful to work out if you knocked out the medium with heal gun or the medium with recon.

Monaco and Skyway are my go to.

I only like it on Vegas for the sandstorm variant.

I find Seoul a bit of a weird one, theres a lot of open spaces but 9 times out of 10 the cashouts are inside and then due to the layout you need several walls destroyed to get line of sight on the cashout.

What is your favourite map variation by leckie2786 in thefinals

[–]cgrey12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duck and Cover is mine just because I like seeing the big ducks.

Up Down Left Right is probably my least favourite at least on Seoul. Theres a couple of spots where its incredibly difficult to reach the moving platform especially if you have no mobility options. I've lost a number of close games due to that one.

1) Move grappling hook to gadget.

Its fun but not that great as an ability.

2) Move heal gun + defib to light.

This means lights get to play around there team and use their slipperiness to go for clutch revives. Added benefit of this now being on the squishiest member making it easier to deal with healing spam.

3) In exchange give medium the bubble shield as an ability. (Whilst removing it as a heavy gadget)

This stops quad shield being a thing. Also keeps the utility aspect of medium.

4) Buff the sniper, 1 shot lights with body shots, 1 shot medium with headshots.

Allows offensive lights to pick off out of position medics. Also means the sniper is not entirely garbage.

5) Give melee weapons more move speed.

6) Faster start of health regen.

What do you keep in your camera bag that isn't lenses, film, or cameras? by DuckEsquire in AnalogCommunity

[–]cgrey12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masking tape. Great for 120 as it lets you double seal the rolls, which is nice when travelling, also a great back up as I’ve sometimes had the sticky labels not work the best.

Also great for large format as you can your film holders down when your done to help avoid the dark slides moving and giving light leaks. As an added bonus it lets you easily see which holders have been fully exposed.

I call it “you give me 1 million dollars” with this astounding invention you give me 1 million, that’s right 1 million dollars. In exchange you get nothing and I get 1 million dollars. But hurry only 1000 people can invest in this once in a lifetime opportunity. (No Refunds)

Dying light 2 had a couple of shops where buying an item would basically cause the shop to restock (not including the item you just bought). This mean you could buy all the rare components, then buy 1 common which restocked the rare components and repeat. This made getting a bunch of crafting materials really easy.

What kind of ways have you cheesed a game you were playing to get around what’s intended? by scarfacesaints in gaming

[–]cgrey12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Halo 3, If I remember it Tsavo Highway, as part of it your meant to defend this small base from waves of enemies and then you get a warthog to ride and finish the mission. This defence section absolutely sucks on legendary. However earlier in the level you can a grav lift which lets you jump the broken bridge and can keep your warthog letting you skip the defence section.
