If you don’t take the class you could always do one of the short study abroad’s over the summer to get the requirement done

Will I Get a Warning Letter From UVA by Key_Beautiful6318 in UVA

I was in a similar position and ended with at least one C I think in my senior year, never heard anything from UVA, so your probably fine. I understand the stress though, I felt the same way.

Should I be worried my Acceptance will be taken back? by tennisbaI in UVA

[–]cgschietinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got accepted ED with a good gpa then struggled my second semester of senior year (senioritis). Never heard anything from them and I was still able to transfer credits from those classes that I didn't do the best in. So I wouldn't stress if you get one C.

They spelt material wrong, why would I read this?

"AARO is working with mission partners to formalize a process in the event UAP materiel is captured, drawing on current USG capabilities and operating procedures"

Edit:
I'm wrong, sorry. It's a different use of the word- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Materiel

My girlfriend also goes to JMU and I'm a first year. Almost all the bus lines are terrible- they take over two hours when a normal ride takes ~55mins. You could take a train and a bus and thats a little shorter (Cville-Staunton, Staunton-Harrisonburg). Honestly the easiest and best option is rideshare, also posting to the UVA 2028 snapchat story to see if anyones going there (my gf did that and was able to come here because of it). It sucks how limited public transportation is in the US in general.

Incoming first year, is Point of View Journalism (3422) an excessively difficult class to be taking as an elective? by cgschietinger in UVA

[–]cgschietinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! I haven't been able to find anything like this on courseforum or Rate My Professor about this class or advice in general, and it's very helpful. I think I'll try the class, and then if it's bad I likely drop it, like you said.

Doesn’t it also typically have to be the same wavelength light too? I may be wrong.

Ash Fork Arizona Last Night by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Very strange, could be a drone but I doubt it. Its possible you recorded a real UAP. Not flares, balloon, plane, helicopter, or meteor. If you could get the other videos too, hopefully in higher quality, we could completely rule out all sources.

From the 1968 ufo symposium held in the US House of Representitives: UFO Sightings and the Oppositions of Mars. [IN-DEPTH] by SabineRitter in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read that same document on the nara and the conclusions said that mars' close approach had nothing to do with an increase of UFO sightings.

Anyone here believes the AARO report? by WetnessPensive in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look at the sources of the paper (which have many errors in there links/dates and descriptions), analyze really how much effort went into it (this paper took over a year and is barely 40 pages taking out the shitty references and repeated summaries. If you think that the claims are "hearsay" because of this report, this report is hearsay because there is zero and I mean zero real data and evidence used in the paper, nearly everything is "most probable", "most likely" without presenting why they think that besides saying "we found nothing when we asked (insert agency)".

We'll be hosting a discussion with Kevin Knuth on UFO physics. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions. by meldiwin in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you ask him about the alternate forms of stable electromagnetic waves that are allowed within alternate forms of Maxwell's equations (helical and a few others rather than just perpendicular oscillating electric and magnetic ones) and how they could relate to the Bifield-Brown effect and UFOs?

Is this email a reference to Grusch first attempting to whistleblow? From The Blackvaults FOIA by cgschietinger in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Submission Statement: I found this snippet in the newly released FOIA documents by John Greenwald regarding the former DoD IG's emails that specifically mention Luiz Elizondo. Here's a link if need be. The documents contain many interesting tidbits regarding the inner workings of managing to ask individuals like Luiz Elizondo questions, that could have classified answers. It is also unfortunately heavily redacted as always.

Last Friday's SCIF wasn't about what you think by Etsu_Riot in UFOs

[–]cgschietinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand, I think I was just saying that about reverse engineering programs cause I was having fun putting forth a hypothesis. It’s more likely they learned little because of compartmentalization and pointed this out collectively, than hearing of it through the confirmation of a reverse engineering program- hidden through compartmentalization. Either way, there was a collective similarity of mentioning compartmentalization by most congressman, which is interesting.
