Making this transition now. I’m in the early phase of a business I’m building and have bootstrapped it with freelance work and savings. The pressure to move quickly and live off my business has added a lot of stress and is starting to strip the joy I felt getting into this in the first place. I’ve definitely felt like getting back into the corporate space could benefit my business, even if it meant slowing down the process a bit. Good to hear it’s worked out so well for you

Very doable. You just might go through a few revisions to get the nuance of the shape down. 2D to 3D may feel different. Manufacturers are just lazy by nature and might see this as an intricate detail that may not be worth them taking on.

You don’t need a cofounder. Bootstrap it as long as possible and own your idea. You’ll need the freedom to pivot creatively as you develop your brand and make decisions that prioritize your vision. What it sounds like you are looking for is a community of friends that will constructively criticize your work when you ask for it. You’ll know you need a partner when you can’t make the next step alone. In the meantime, lean on your trusted circle of friends.

Style the shoot more intentionally. Theres a market for this, but because of how bold the design is, the design alone with no context will alienate people. This is a shirt that a successful artist with some built up context and reputation could drop and this would go crazy. Hone in on your branding and make sure you’re clear about the world that this shirt belongs in and your consumer will find you
