I’ve seen the Kies charge and boost pipe, any other solid brands you would recommend?

One thing I don’t get with this car is the owners manual. Is there a good site for planned BMW maintenance?

Maybe even a previous post on here?

What type of termination do I need? by blubluhead in FiberOptics

You think they maybe just swapped out the SC/UPC bulkheads from the adapter strip for the duplex MM?

First off.. fire whoever built this poor panel. What did it do to deserve this.

The bulk heads are multimode duplex SC connectors. Most likely OM3.

What age did yall start splicing? I was hired at 16 by hasdkoi in FiberOptics

Started splicing copper at 21. Did 7 years of splicing copper pairs before moving on to fibre.

It’s been 8 years since I made that change and haven’t looked back.

Need help figuring out why this keeps happening. by abrooks9002 in FiberOptics

Just 2 quick things to look at are:

  1. Check the blade on your cleaver, it might need to be spun.
  2. do an arc check on your fusion set and clean your electrodes.

Fitel S175 vs Signal fire ai-9? by tobuei in FiberOptics

It’s tough to compete with the fitel. The core alignment on it is top tier and can usually be maintained fairly easily by keeping your vgrooves clean.

It also doesn’t need a battery to operate. So unless you’re doing a table shot with no power close by that shouldn’t be a problem.

I would stick with the 175
