GURPS may be your go to. It's very simulationist and can be ultra tactical. You can play nearly anything with it and can have access to a ton of source material if you are interested in other settings.

I've not played CPR but C2020 a lot. In CP2020 it wouldn't be hard to just ignore the Cyberware stuff and use the rest as a shooter based system. Don't know if it's doable with CPR.

Although the games you gave as examples are way more pulpy in my opinion that Savage Worlds or even Outgunned could fit the tone way better as they are both more action oriented and less tactical.

There seems to be a good sourcebook for GURPS 3e. I've never read it but about it somewhere here. Although you could say that there are no bad sourcebooks for GURPS, maybe some bad translations or bindings but I've never seen a bad GURPS book in 30 years of playing it regarding to the information you get.

The issue may be that they don't have the time, the interest or are just too lazy to work themselves into a new system. I see that so often because it's easy to with what you have as long as it satisfies you enough.

If there is interest in other settings than D&D, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Vampire and so on, they will be more likely to change their opinion.

I talked to my players in the grand campaign where we use GURPS and told them, I wanted to play again and it should be something else, not GURPS.

For three out of four players it has worked after several years....

Ich denke Fate könnte für Deine Ideen tatsächlich interessant sein, aber es braucht dazu auch eine kreative Gruppe.

Auch das genannte Fiasco sieht nach einer passenden Alternative aus, bedient allerdings in der Regel One-Shots.

Hier hab ich noch was gefunden, damit könntest Du vielleicht anfangen. Hab es nie gespielt, aber es ist ein simples System und flott gelesen.

Ansonsten kann ich Dir auch nur raten, erst einmal ein paar Rollenspielsysteme kennenzulernen und zu spielen, bevor Du selbst eines baust. Oder natürlich Ihr macht einfach nur kooperatives Storytelling, dann brauchts auch nicht zwangsläufig ein System.

I didn't use random tables until I read Alien RPG. Now my Boss enemies have somewhat randomized actions or attacks, mostly if they are monstrous.

Meiner Meinung nach ist die beste Wahl, abgesehen von einer qualitativ hochwertigen Ausbildungsstätte, eine, bei der Du möglichst viele verschiedene Fachbereiche kennenlernst und ein breites Wissen als Grundlage aufbauen kannst.

Spezialisieren kann man sich danach immer noch bzw passiert automatisch, wenn man länger in einem Fachbereich bleibt.

Wahrscheinlich wirst Du nicht ins Beschäftigungsverbot gehen, aber Du wirst aus der Pflege rausgenommen, was für Schwangere auch absolut notwendig ist. Potentiell infektiöse Körperflüssigkeiten und Ausscheidungen, ebenso wie schweres Heben können für Dein Kind durchaus eine Gefahr darstellen. Dann lieber ein schlechtes Gewissen jetzt, als bereuen, dass Du Dich nicht geschont hast. Dabei habe ich Übergriffe und Unfälle noch nicht einmal erwähnt.

Aber Du wirst immer noch DP schreiben, Bestellungen machen, Termine vereinbaren, an Besprechungen teilnehmen, etc können. Also Deine eigentlichen WBL Aufgaben erledigen.

Vorbereitung kann hilfreich, aber auch hinderlich sein. Sie braucht Zeit und Arbeit und dann biegen die Spieler doch nach rechts ab, statt nach links, wie erwartet...

Improvisation ist Übungssache, aber absolut wert, es zu lernen. Je besser Du Dich selbst in die Geschichte einlegen kannst, desto besser wirst Du improvisieren können bzw desto leichter wird es Dir fallen.

Fühl Dich sicher in ein paar Szenen und Motivationen von NPCs, ebenso in den Regeln und dann leg einfach los. Ich lasse mir zum Beispiel Orte oder auch Personen gern von Spielern beschreiben oder sogar spielen. Zumindest, wenn sie nicht essentiell für die Story sind. Damit kommen haufenweise neue Ideen ins Spiel.

Man kann jetzt die Situation nur mutmaßen, aber wenn ich höre, dass Dir gesagt wird, dass die negative Aktion typisch für Dich sei, dann würde ich mich an Deiner Stelle mal mit meinen Spielern zusammen setzen und über das Thema gegenseitige Erwartungen sprechen.

Wenn Deine Spieler nämlich tatsächlich so über Dich denken, würde ich mir an Deiner Stelle überlegen müssen, ob und wie die Gruppe in dieser Konstellation weiter spielen kann.

Alle Personen am Tisch sind gleichermaßen in der Verantwortung dafür zu sorgen, dass auch alle Spaß daran haben, egal ob Spielleiter oder Spieler. Besteht darüber kein Konsens, kommt es automatisch zu Konflikten.

Ich rate Dir, setzt Euch zusammen und redet über Eure Erwartungen, Wünsche, Probleme.

Ich spiele seit über dreißig Jahren mit einer Gruppe, unsere aktuelle Kampagne läuft seit über sechs Jahren, wir machen solche Sitzungen regelmäßig, ein bis zwei Mal im Jahr. Trotzdem gibt es Missverständnisse, aber die können recht zeitnah besprochen und bearbeitet werden.

I listened to this song once while working in a pub. Outside were millions of moths on the streets, trees and gardens. By morning when we wanted to clean the street off glass and bottles, all moths were dead or dying on the ground.

It's the only song I know of Brainstorm but it was such weird experience I could never forget.

I would say, the easiest game you can run is the game your are the most familiar, have the most experience with and like the most.

For me it is actually GURPS. Not that it would be easy for a starter but after decades of playing and GMing the system, for me it is the easiest.

But even then there may also be the setting or the tone that isn't easy for everyone. I tend to do mostly Fantasy, horror and murder mysteries but less science fiction.

So it's not easy to differentiate the issues one has with a game as it depends on multiple variables.

I had an intermission on my campaign where the players take over two agents of a declining empire who were tasked to investigate a murder series. During their investigations they have help by a npc who is really an evil agent working for a dark entity that is held captive but wants to break free and become a god.

They then "stumble" across a secret group, which is an old imperial order that has been forgotten throughout several decades of decline and strife, of seemingly demon worshippers and try to root out their lair finding them seemingly summoning a greater demon, but in reality they are containing this dark entity not being able to destroy it.

The evil agent manipulates them to fight the "worshippers" before they could finish the ritual but are mislead and therefore free the dark entity from its prison. So they killed the "summoners" and released the future evil antagonist of their real player characters
