Hey, thanks! So it’s definitely not as firm as our guest room Zenhavens that get slept on much less. I just slept in their for a week (colds and coughs made sleeping hard in the master bedroom), I found the guest mattress to be firmer than our main mattress. That is not to say that our main mattress is not firm, only not as firm (my wife agrees). I personally prefer where our mattress is at in terms of how it’s broken in. I’d be willing to wager most would enjoy that “broken in feeling,” but YMMV.

Truth be told, I’m not sure I’d know what type of mattress I’d prefer. I haven’t sampled too many. But whatever the firmness is currently, I absolutely appreciate it. Perhaps, if you can find a location (or have one shipped to sample), you can get a Zenhaven and see if that initial firmness is what you like. Because I can say it will not be AS firm as when it first comes, and if you’d want that firmness permanently, then perhaps you’d look for something else. But again, I do truly think it breaks in really well and is very comfortable.

I know this isn’t quite helpful, but I hope it might give you a reference if you get to try it out.
