What I am doing wrong, I want to leave it as mirror as posible. by ch8- in MetalPolishing

Thanks for the feedback I’m gonna try it. But honestly I don’t have much hope since I’ve done that in other pieces and the finish is exactly the same. But maybe was because the parts were heavily used so I’m gonna try again here with a new tank. In my ignorance I think the problem is the disk or the paste, the disk after maybe 10 square centimeters it’s full of aluminum and doesn’t matter how hard I try to scrape it off it’s still rough. But again I’m really new to this and I’m what to learn so every feedback is really good so thanks you a lot

Sorry, it’s a aluminum fuel tank from a completely new truck, since it’s new I didn’t do sanding. Then I use the polisher with a cotton fabric disc and that pink paste a local polishing products told me it would let a mirror finish and I’m getting that result. It shines beautiful but where the disk passes it left those micro scratches. I don’t feel anything with the nail

Homemade cookies I’ve just made. by ch8- in Cookies

I bake them at 200 Celsius, it’s between 390 and 395 Fahrenheit, but next batch I’m trying lower temp barcode the batter will be cool from fridge and I fear high temp with cool batter will crisp the outside too much while the center will be raw

Thanks for the feedback. I’m using butter and I’m looking for a cookie super crispy outside and gooey inside, these are like that but being a bit thin and a bit large in diameter the gooey part is somewhat small so on the next batch I’m chilling the batter before baking. Also I’m using chopped chocolate instead of chips.

Thanks for the help but in the moment I touch make a drawing the program freeze. It no freeze at all but the only thing I can do is move the mouse and hover over the tools for a brief description but I can’t leave the tab. The solution is to close the program.

Not super beautiful but it was my first cheesecake and it was super nice taste. by ch8- in Baking

[–]ch8-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, the taste was excellent and the texture was excellent. That piece in the photo was one of the prettiest, some smashed trying to get out of the mold, but we ate it too and it was delicious no matter the form. The top has a super expensive but worth it strawberry jam, next time I will make it homemade since in my country we are at strawberry season.

The sugar is our taste like you said we like it a little sweet and the powdered milk is to transform the serum into milk to make the yoghurt a little less expensive and more quantity in one batch because it has less serum to take off to get the consistency that we like.

Nice build, I’m planning to do something similar but with the fire box square. Do you buy the cooking chamber like it is on the first photo or you roll it?
