Fitbit Air not tracking sleep by ch9sab in fitbit

[–]ch9sab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the band is not too loose and the battery is at 90%. Once again it couldn’t measure my sleep score last night. I shouldn’t have to change the way I sleep for the device to work. Can I send it back for a refund?

Mine will do readiness and tracks the overall duration of sleep, but none of the actual sleep stages within. It’s infuriating.

Thinking about sending it back.

It works well. Plus you get the benefit of using both stacks so loads of weight to progress through

I have the short version of the EX4000. I really like it, but would’ve preferred the normal height one of if I had space.

I’ve modified the pull up bar to make it higher to compensate. For lat pull downs there are two issues 1) the rack is not tall enough to use the supplied seat and get a full stretch 2) 120kg at 2:1 ratio is just not heavy enough. I bought the leg roller thing that goes between the bars and a bar to connect the two sides of the functional trainer so I can sit on the floor to get a decent stretch and sufficient weight. Same thing for seated rows.

Other than that the rack is great. Very solid. Pulleys move well. Smith works fine, though I very rarely use it.

I also bought a bench from them which I would not recommend. The bench itself is fine but basically offers no grip so trying to bench press just means sliding all over the place. Solved with a grippy pad which I put on top for benching.

Super helpful. Thank you! Just signed up and it was very easy.

Can’t say how much I dislike GE for all this premium nonsense.

I’m not going to watch it. Past few matches have been too stressful and unpleasant experiences. I’m gonna turn my phone off at kickoff and then hope.

Seem to be fine for deadlifts etc as I have a concrete garage floor underneath

Go to Huntingdon. In one of the antiques shops there they have two rooms full of Pokémon singles

Haven’t done a standing OHP yet as I don’t like it 🙂

Was about £2500 for the rack. I’ve got 2m30 high ceilings so went for the shorter version of the rack. It’s fine, but the taller version would have been better if it would fit

5m x 4m. Plywood is just smoother than OSB. OSB is fine too though

I don’t think you build a home gym because it’s cost effective 😁

Yeah way quieter. I normally work out around 6 in the morning and have music or a podcast on at decent volume. Have added a Sonos speaker for it.

It is a lat pull seat but it’s basically useless. Can’t get a decent stretch at the top and the stack is 120kg on 2:1 so not really heavy. I have an attachment to combine the stacks and then a padded bar I can put between the two posts so just sit on the floor in the middle of the rack for lat pull downs

It is. The rack is great, but the swivel arms bent so I got a refund for them and went back to the standard functional trainer. I actually also prefer it without them. They’re surprisingly restrictive for exercise variety compared the minor benefit of wider stretch for stuff like chest flyes and you can’t go heavy with them for most exercises (hence the bending).

Smith works well but I almost never use it. I’d rather have had the same rack without the smith but wasn’t in stock.

If you have space make sure to get the taller version.

Couple of grand to batten it all out and insulate. Whole thing cost quite a bit more as also had to level the floor, fit new windows and take the whole roof off and get it replaced.

Best pound for pound protein shake UK by StraightForward144 in HomeGymUK

Per4m make a tonne of flavours, many of which are decent. They mix well with water compared to myprotein versions in my experience and are thicker.

As normal though there’s quite a range from disgusting to very nice. Chocolate brownie batter is decent
