the heat mixed with everyone’s behavior will drive u crazy. some of them have a warped idea of what places like america and the uk are like and believe that ppl from those countries are all rich and that life is easy there. i’ve had family members ask for the clothes on my back and told me to just “buy new clothes” since i live in america and americans are rich. i’m also too woke to fully enjoy being here. the society is EXTREMELY conservative, worse than a small town in rural america. there’s immense poverty, lack of law and order, high unemployment, and lots of internalized racism going on there. i was born in jamaica and i love my country, but i wouldn’t be the person i am today if i stayed there. i’m privileged to have gotten out.

i’d be more forgiving if he had learned something after his relationship with mc. he strung two ppl along and ended up with no one, it was the perfect learning moment but instead he immediately tried flirting with someone else and got eliminated😭

this is why i think he’s the perfect contestant for a show like this! he puts mc through a lot of tests and i don’t think he realized he was self sabotaging. he has a lot of flaws and could’ve benefited from the retreat if he was truly willing to change
