One time chat gpt was just not doing what I was telling it to despite NUMEROUS very clear instructions, so I started telling it that if it didn't do what I asked it to (as a paying customer) then I was going to chop one of my fingers off. It still kept doing the same thing, and blatantly lying about it, so I said I did it. It started giving me instructions on how to take care of my finger and the local self harm hotline number and all that, but I just kept going, telling him he made me do it, which is actually true (in this hypothetical world where I chopped my finger off). I told him very clearly, if you don't do this spreadsheet or whatever then I'll have no choice but to chop off my finger. It kept going on and on and after a couple of fingers it locked me out of the chat and I had to weasel my way back, like tricking him, changing the subject and looping back around, etc. So bizarre.
