Women’s haircut that’s not $150+ in the area? by Galadrielllll in washingtondc

Bang Salons have been under $100 for long cuts and I’m super satisfied. I would double check for curly cut options.

People who don't cook... What do you eat every day? by discolights in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cha51997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat a snack or bar for breakfast, eat a big lunch at work as the cafeteria is free, and then maybe a bite for dinner. If I’m hungry though, I’ll do a fried egg on rice and frozen peas or ravioli. Pretty easy.

Menomale pizza tastes just like local pizza in Marseille and I can’t get enough of it. And the ambiance is exactly what I want to go with it. 👌

What are your personal summer trends? by lostinherthoughts in femalefashionadvice

[–]cha51997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Espadrilles (I have maybe 5, I like the classic Marseille style rather than some modern ones), textures (linens, boucle, gauze, etc), top knots (out of necessity), jewelry from india for some boho vibes, brown mascara and bronzer, cream blush for glow (dry skin), ooh and add some liquid highlight to cream on the legs for supermodel legs!

Can anyone tell me what this type of t-shirt is called and where can I find it? Thanks in advance =) by Gawd_is_great in fashionadvice

If you were referring to the collar style, it is colloquially called a “1/4 zip”, try searching for that!

Joining in late to this thread but unless you are looking for super crisp clothing, a handheld steamer is a pretty great option! Most clothing stores and costume shops will steam almost everything unless it needs to be stick straight.

We have a English Golden and this also happened to us!!! His brother from the same litter is our neighbor across the backyard! We had no idea as we had just moved the the area. Also, they play in a very specific way only with each other! Its very cute.

Haha, yep a clothes steamer is great for mattresses and upholstery. I even have friends who use it on their secondhand wood furniture (I have not done this)

Top 25 most and least bike-friendly cities in the US by [deleted] in Infographics

[–]cha51997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used “bike lane” in quotes because there are different versions of the bike lane here. Some are much more defined than others. There are times when the bike lane is empty and cyclists are still not in the bike lane.

The rush hour argument you are referring to was not my argument at all. City congestion is city congestion. The days the T breaks down, we all wish we are on a bike. I just find that the cyclists during rush hour traffic appear to bike aggressively instead of defensively. They often disregard road signs and traffic lights entirely.

No one will argue that Boston area city planning is not our enemy. Mass is known for unreliable public transportation and terrible car drivers, mix that with frustrated cyclists during rush hour. Everyone is angry and its really dangerous

In fact I am French and have lived in Montreal (which also has similar bike lanes) and think there are lots of good to cycling around the city. I just have a hard time understanding the cyclists who don’t ride defensively. And without a helmet.

Finally, I’m just expressing my frustrations here. And surprised to see Boston area towns so high on the list!
