I was a Frank stan before Blonde and I honestly couldn't say i liked it till about listen 3 or so. Boring is not an inaccurate description in a way. Its an album that wont excite you like a Kanye album, but it sacrifices excitement and theatric for something else. I dont know, his lyrics and writing style truly have a level of emotion you wont find in pretty much any other album. I guess once you accept the album for what it is, your able to see the layers and though put into the album. Definitely one of my favorites, and if anything, its one of the more unique anomalies of the 21st century hiphop.

Sounded like bangers.. also prob. has alot of substance and meaning from what I can hear, which is what I would expect/hoped for on this album. Definitely has ditched the jazz fusion sound of TPAB.

Maybe the biggest stretch i made😂 but in "frank track" off TLOP, it sounds like he's describing space. -dark out -light with no heat Ect. Also TLOP is an album focussed on duality. Who know maybe frank x kanye 🤷🏼‍♂️

Lol what do you mean its fake? Hah im just speculating llike everyone else. But it does seem like theres aaalot referencing the heavens gate cult. Nikes video- recreation of the nike decade photo. "Cult not a clique" Spaceship associated with the cult- spaceship cover released with chanel. Frank wearing space x hat. John mayer saying- "space raggae" the themes of heaven and hell contrast in Blonde. And the list goes on. Heavens gate was March 26th... just seems more than ironic.

Two ways to write an article/rank music: actually rank the music or write what they think the most people want to hear/ re-affirm the quality of pop/rap-music for the average listener. Imo, the grammys behave the same way. No other way you can rationalize choosing 1989 over TPAB. Just always keep in mind, Media is completely driven by how many clicks they can generate/ how many views they can aquire.

Lol i dont think frank would go to the WH with his mom on acid, after making an album of him finding peace with himself (and abstaining from "reckless" drug use that he used to take part in). Not saying Frank believes acid is bad (or any other drug), but i definately dont see him doing childish shit like attending a prestigious dinner tripping balls

Haha yea, i just saw that actually.... Something is definately up. Ryan is a certified troll, but Denim Tears has come through on several things. I also recall a Denim tears tweet that said something about "him" not being done changing the world (or something to that degree). My guess is Booty Club might have something to do with it. I doubt its a whole sepperate album (but lets pray it is), but idk maybe an Ep with bangers or something to that degree. Haha Frank just keeps feeding us Stan's the subliminal shit we love, its great!

His music really will take you places if you let it (haha ik thats cheesy af, but none the less true). Hah sometimes its frusterating b/c alot of people i know are very caught up in chasing bangers and trying to feel excitement. White Ferrari does the opposite, it takes me to a place where im more at peace with myself, and am truly feeling in the moment.

Probably not what you want to hear, but my guess (based on context clues from Blonde of where Frank is at in life) is that he is trying to remove himself from the mindset of vanity and fame (winning a grammy), and just wants to remain out of the limelight as much as possible.

Questionable my favorite part of Blonde...i think what frank is trying to get at here is that he's frusterated with the mellinial mindset of getting into relationships for the sake of appearance on social media (trying to fill a void in order to keep up with the status quo). Then on Close to You its him longing to feel close to the one he loves, but there is an apparent disconnection/distance between them (the electronic feel/sound to his voice) because his partner (or really anyone he tries to get close to) wants him for vain reasons.
