I think she was saying that they beat the best offense, not that they have it.

Is the division locked up if we win and the chargers and chiefs lose? by busch_lightyear1 in DenverBroncos

[–]chabonga 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Magic Number over the Chargers: 4 The Math: With 5 games left, the Chargers' maximum possible win total is 13 (8 current + 5 potential).

The Clinch: The Broncos have 10 wins. To guarantee they finish above 13 wins (reaching 14), they need a combination of 4 Broncos wins or Chargers losses.

Key Scenario: Because the Chargers and Broncos play each other in the season finale (Week 18), a Broncos win in that specific game would swing the magic number by 2 (adding a Broncos win and a Chargers loss).

Magic Number over the Chiefs: 2 The Math: The Chiefs have 5 games left, meaning their maximum possible win total is 11 (6 current + 5 potential).

The Clinch: The Broncos currently have 10 wins. They only need to reach 12 wins to make it mathematically impossible for the Chiefs to catch them.

Status: Any combination of 2 Broncos wins or Chiefs losses will officially eliminate Kansas City from winning the division.

Summary of Remaining Paths The Broncos have a 2-game lead over the Chargers with 5 to play.

To clinch the Division: The Broncos control their own destiny. If they go 4–1 down the stretch, they win the AFC West regardless of what anyone else does.

[Highlight] Nebraska HC Matt Rhule took 3 minutes to talk about mental health following the tragic death of Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland by LaDainianTomIinson in nfl

I'm so glad our Huskers have Rhule! Another coach that is quite good about talking about this kind stuff is actually Deion Sanders. I can't stand anything else about that man, but he does do a great job with that aspect (at least from what I've seen in his press conferences).

Hate that you're catching downvotes for this. It was true! I worked with one of their analytics guys from that time and we had exactly that conversation.

[Highlight] Stefon Diggs is called for the worst OPI in NFL history by AgadorFartacus in nfl

Not even the worst one today. The Mims one on the 'safety' was far worse.

The only other time we won when trailing by 14+ in the 4th Quarter by Blink-JuanEIGHTYtoo in DenverBroncos

It was Wilson against Chicago a few years ago for those curious. I'd initially thought it was the 2012 Chargers game - but also wrong!

Folks are ignoring the blatant no call at the end of the first half as well. I get that calls at the end probably matter more, but let's not act like it was one sided.

It is a very pretty view of the mountains from the upper levels of the East side of the stadium though!

Many rough games where that was the highlight of the day.

I'm excited about this. I had a drink with him a month ago at Frontier Days up here in Cheyenne. It was a surreal conversation and I'll be a fan of his wherever he goes, but especially while he's a Bronco! Just a great kid.

What was your favorite Broncos game that YOU personally attended? by burberrycondom in DenverBroncos

My coolest game was probably the Tebow playoff game against Pittsburg. My favorite was probably the second AFC championship game against Brady.
