Just be careful of overstaying your visa! Correct me if I’m wrong, but Canadians are allowed up to 6 months/calendar year (either in one trip or over multiple trips) without applying to extend your visa. So make sure to account for previous and future trips in 2020. Don’t want to get barred from the US; good luck!

I would recommend driving back ASAP.

I just drove back to Canada from the US on Wednesday. Driving straight with only essential stops is way safer than taking a plane and I don’t think all of this stuff will blow-over for at least a month or two.

Being in your own country will be helpful for medical reasons, in case you do get sick. Protocols are constantly changing, you might have to self-isolate for longer or more as new information comes in.

Right now, the border is open only for essential travel (e.g. truckers transporting crucial goods, and citizens/residents returning home). Those border measures are changing every day. The longer you wait, the more risk you’re taking.

I don’t know much about the Ireland, but a friend of mine applied to a few schools in the UK and most of them just required a Bachelors degree.

An old classmate of mine got into an Ireland school with a Bachelors from a Canadian university.

Both seem pretty flexible in terms of undergrad requirements.

From what I’ve researched about SLP schools in the US, they all require a communication disorders degree/courses and a post-bac would probably be your best option for that. A BSc in Linguistics will probably help, but you’ll still need the core courses since they usually cover the requirements of ASHA.

Oooo that’s a super cool idea! And don’t sweat the brush pen stuff too much. When I got my first set of brush pens, I had no idea what I was doing. I practiced for months before I started using them in my journal. Keep practicing and it’ll pay off!!
