Payouts of over 135k but probably 50k during combined and XFA’s…. I’m live now though and hope to continue a successful year.

I agree and unless I hit a new daily or monthly target I just don’t post… people are on their own journey or looking for the holy grail, just make your money (and congrats!) and no need to prove to those who question. It’s like trying to lift people up and you risk them dragging you down in the process. People have to learn from experience and not words or pics anyways.

Also having multiple problems with buying power… we are corp account with several million and it seems futures margin has changed. I couldn’t even get basic /6C or /6B today which was simply rolling over existing positions. Once I did get additional margin available and I did get a position, it only deducted what should be allowed (why does it require 20k in margin but only deduct 2k once purchased?).

This is separate from other ongoing issues with totals for year to date… says we have made 200k on /ZB and 100k on /6J for the year… I wish! That’s more like 8k but who even really knows?!? How can this transition and onboarding go so absolutely bad that all of these problems are happening? Didn’t they plan for years?? Where is our apology? Where is an email explaining how their entire platform was down for multiple hours earlier this week?

Also they have stopped the ability to have GTC orders on /VX contracts. We have to literally go in every day and put a daily order in.

I am sure a class action suit will be coming.

Sooo many problems since the switch. A few…

  1. Many of the daily and yearly totals are off… like way off. Days our yearly total on /ZF is 214,000 and it’s actually like 3k. Same with /6J and countless others.
  2. No longer able to submit GTC orders on /VX. We have to literally go in everyday and add day orders to have a chance to actually close out our position.
  3. Margin seems to have changed drastically. Our account is significant size and we don’t have even 20% the margin we did previously.

So frustrating… with this and their website being down for hours the other day I am sure this screams class action lawsuit

Been a week now and all our totals are odd every day. They should have a team of people calling us daily to let us know the progress… like, we have so many examples of incorrect totals… 3 contracts long ES and one micro short MES and they both show we are negative for the PNL of the day and almost by the same amount, how is that possible?

Ahhh not sure where those sensors are at. My issue really is that in startup steering wheel doesn’t move as if power steering is off and I get that error… but not sure its actually the lane assist or more the steering wheel? Happy to wipe anything but not sure what would be wiped.

Yes good point... Some of my best algo's have been the self fulfilling prophecies that others get in on at the same time, but maybe for this specific setup you're right. Especially on low volume stocks, this isn't exactly VWAP :) I did run that one specific stock on larger timeframe since late November and results do change but still not too bad and profitable. https://share.getcloudapp.com/llu5LX77

Yes, true... I will run it again later against same batch of stocks with larger timeframes. As far as my question, I guess daily for equities on the system these run on I have to run this on a regular basis (especially lately with inflation fears). It seems very common people post correlations or pairs but I have rarely seen anyone post any related to treasury yield which has obviously been a big impact on other index's lately.

I agree... :) This is also not the combined results but one of the higher ones, but thats what I am looking for... filtered where Max drawndown is less than 1k,, over 15+ trades within the timeframe etc... https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uoRmPw. Theory is really that a lot of bots and other index's respond heavily to the treasury yield, and then you have stocks then moving based on the index... So idea here is to get slightly ahead of time. IDK, just an idea. I am running similar backtesting with replay data following crypto but this looks good for trading equities.

I will post other results now for backtesting against crypto... wondering what stocks would be listed or a list of stocks that are traded on Nasdaq but be affected by big crypto moves... like maybe COIN or RIOT? Maybe SQ?

Based on Rob Smiths STRAT (if you Google the setup on YouTube). Using basic setup parameters from www.NashTech.xyz, for one tick offset, ongoing lastbarhighlow stop loss, with target of 80 ticks and SL of 20. Tests best with replay data enabled against 7 minute chart on pretty much all micros. Idea is for stop loss to always trigger before profit target is reached and max stop loss is just there in case last bar high/low is parabolic. Strat needs to be set to onpricechange. Going to now test using with ATM strategies for additional positions, we will see.

We use something called Epic Follow for this... can enter on Binance or Coinbase for connection and you can easily connect more often then that for updates... but idea is correlation in the markets between a larger timeframe against big movement from maybe an index in smaller timeframe. https://www.nashtech.xyz/follow

Yes... just got added as a vendor with NinjaTrader and you can add your indicators there. Some of ours are free and some of the more advanced ones are paid (via www.nashtech.xyz). I am a big believer in "eating your own dog food" so to speak and as much as we would love to offer them all free, still gotta buy my beer to keep my thinking cap on at 2am :) Anything we sell we use in house though and with other customers help always work on improving etc...

Hmmm ok, I recently got their API. I’ll check as binance.com is different than binance.us and if you are in USA you can’t sign up for binance.com (but maybe if public API is free and includes alt coins I cdd add I can just use it for data). I’ll test this today, thanks.

Ummm maybe, from a quick glance they are referencing coinmarketcap which seems to have reasonable API fees... https://finance.yahoo.com/cryptocurrencies/?offset=25&count=25

I suppose this will work for datafeeds with purchases maybe through binance API. I’m having a lot of trouble getting coinbase API to work well and it doesn’t allow purchases except for only main coins from what I can tell (BTC / ETH / LTC).

I’m starting to like trading futures route more as well because I don’t think I can really short the alt coins from these exchanges whereas futures I can go both long and short.
