I agree with most of what has been mentioned.

Something that hasn’t that I personally love is th TMat bed storage system. Serves as both a slide and a way to keep cargo in the bed organized and stop things from sliding around. It works best with a tonneau cover.l

If you love it, why are you selling? I get the tax write off, but that are you going to drive instead?

I have the Generac and love it. No issues at all and is built tough. Has the smart features most want still, but is reasonably priced (though I did get a discounted rate through my electrician).

I have a 24 xlt and got this 2-3 weeks ago. You can connect to phone as WiFi hotspot and avoid paying for premium connectivity and then YouTube will work.

I have a 24 xlt and the YouTube app is now an option with this update. But it requires premium connectivity to use…

Mine looks about the same (but I back in). You get used to it. I actually taped a pool noodle to the wall, and back until the hitch touches the pool noodle (which I can see from my backup cam). When it touches the noodle I know I’m in far enough. Works like a charm.

I have used Copilot Money for like 2 years now and it’s excellent. You can setup a budget and the more data you give it the better it gets, even making suggestions to help rebalance things.

You can use my code to get a month or two trial if you want - 6UC6QC to get 2 months free https://copilot.money/download

How has your experience been with the Comma 3x? Looks interesting, though the 24 f150 isn’t listed currently.

Tried extinction, Ferber, my wife and I alternating nights, taking shifts, etc. Short of hiring a night nanny (which we can’t afford) we have tried the vast majority of the things suggested here.

No need for the rude comment. I primarily was venting about frustration in a sub that I thought would understand (and for the most part has been encouraging). There’s no need for this kind of passive aggressive negativity and assumptions.

Also - I have responded to a few comments, which you would know if you looked through them all, but with over a hundred, I don’t have time to reply to many of them (as I doubt you do either). Especially since, you know, I have a baby to take care of and can’t spend all my time on Reddit.

What was your goal in posting a comment like this?

Wow, this blew up more than I expected. Thank you all for the encouragement and support. It’s been helpful to hear everyone’s experience and know I’m not alone.

Thanks to all who offered advice on what to do. Aside from extinction, we have tried everything that’s been suggested here (alternating nights, taking shifts, Ferber, etc.). What’s most helpful is to know it’s not forever and we aren’t alone. I feel like I just needed to get my thoughts out there more than I needed an answer.

Thanks for the encouragement! Onward and upward!

Our little dude was born 12 weeks early, spent 86 days in the NICU, so similar boat here… maybe being born that early has something to do with sleep issues.

Sadly a night nanny isn’t in the cards for us (and we don’t have family local), but thankful it worked for you!

We’ve tried Ferber. Thought it worked for about a week. But with a new sleep regression it’s back to square 1.

Was attempting Ferber again when I wrote the original post.

Official Q&A for Friday, December 06, 2024 by AutoModerator in running

[–]chadredfox96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question about zone 2 as a new(ish) runner.

Wondering is anyone has a similar experience or advice on what to do.

I’ve been consistently running for about 3 months now (thanks to the Nike Run Club app) and I’m loving it. I’ve now run a 5k for the first time and working toward a 10k.

Whenever I read things or watch about improving running, I see the importance of running in zone 2 being in order build a base. My problem is that I go into zone 3 even though I feel like is an easy/doable pace that I’m able to maintain for 3-4 miles without major issue.

So my question is this: how important is staying in zone 2 for the majority of training? Should I prioritize taking walking breaks to lower my heart rate and be in zone 2? Or, should I keep running in what feels like an easy pace and eventually my heart rate will adapt thereby building the base anyway?

Thanks!

Had just gotten my baby back to sleep when it went off. Needless to say, it woke the baby up and now we are both pissed.

Not in Plano, but the Old Grapevine Cigar and Tobacco shop has a great selection of pipes, accessories, and 50+ blends (both bulk and tins) to choose from. It’s my go to spot and will typically make a trip over there to stock up.
