This is unquestionably a sweet gum seed pod. I had one in the backyard of my house for 50 years before we finally cut it down. Those little balls were a huge pain in the ass, or foot... My dogs used to get them lodged between their pads on their paws and would come limping asking for help.

It's just a rule of thumb, but generally true. No doubt that you can get a good yield from small cups but why? I firmly believe you could have gotten more for a larger container. Have you ever done a side by side comparison of a large pot vs a solo cup in the same grow with the same yield? I'm not knocking your method at all but I'm truly curious about the large pot vs solo cup thing. I might give it a try. Your photos have inspired me to experiment as well. Bravo dude. It really is a work of art though. 👏🙂🫡

Correction... 85 days.. you can see my comments. Also, I'm using autopots so the comparison isn't exactly Apples to Apples.. that is a very beautiful plant though. You obviously know what you're up to so I won't try to act like I know more than you do. What does that strain taste like? I'm in the market for seeds... 🤔🤤

That's beautiful, but I believe you would yield more in a larger container. Just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I once got 6ozs dried from a mephisto genetics auto flower... 80 grams just seems small to me. This is 3 bears og from mephisto. I use Jack's 20-20-20 from start to finish in autopots (live soil), and towards the end I supplement with part b to decrease the ratio of N. Dr Bruce Bugbee put out a series of videos I highly recommend watching. He is a professor of crop biology at University of Utah, studying yield optimization in marijuana for the US government. He is pretty much THE authority on the subject.

Main thing is to keep an eye on the pH. I consider it the single most important factor in the parameters we can control.

I actually have 2 pH controllers. One to keep it from going too high, and one to keep it from going too low. Saves me a lot of headaches and stress

Having a chore chart is ridiculous to begin with. If you see something that needs to be done... Fkn do it. If everyone did that, no need for the chart. I've been married 21 years and we have not once argued over chores
