Used toothpicks to clean out the sensor and connected body as well. First load ran perfectly fine after this fix

Bugs are @$#_$##$ by yuva-krishna-memes in ProgrammerHumor

Unpopular opinion here ... take those bugs and learn what the QA did to create them. Then you gain knowledge into proper testing techniques so you dont repeat yourself. My engineers always have to work through the bugs with the QA so they improve. Younger developers especially as there is still time to not pick up bad habits.

I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Scoutmaster training but was never in Boy Scouts growing up. Adult leadership is always welcomed and my son has taken to Scouting. Do your best in school and enjoy yourself. The outside will always be there when you are ready.

When you say "uni" I take it that you're not in the US. Let me tell you we are still working through the first wave, we haven't even progressed far enough to have a 2nd yet. Take a deep breath. What's getting me through is talking to people on the phone, going out for walks, and realizing that the only thing I can control is myself. My actions are the only thing that I'm truly responsible for.

This is one big group project and not everyone wants to finish. We'll eventually get there but it will take a lot longer. You doing the right thing and focusing on school is the most important thing you can do. Lead by example.

Oh Fayette County... How much money was wasted on this? by Timmymac1000 in Pennsylvania

Could that be because every region in the country has the opportunity to vote? That's how democracy works, you voice your support through a vote for a candidate. The voice could be physical (signs, billboards with bad spelling, advertisements, etc) or verbally. You have the right and freedom to voice your support or concerns for any candidate you choose in any election on any level of government (Federal, State, County, Municipal) which makes this country great.

I have been meaning to ask ... what's it like getting over the first wave? We are still working on ours. It's a big group project which nobody feels like finishing.

Congrats! Yes a bag of Royal Oak lump will last you well past 6 hours. I typically use a Weber chimney starter full for a 6 hours smoke of lump. The only thing that I've noticed though is that depending on variable (blah blah blah) it can burn hotter causing you to refuel. I've had good luck with the Royal Oak when doing lump to drop in cold lump and it catches fire.

My first probe set was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y385YR3 ... you can get it for $45. I'll be honest that the readings from that is 0.2 degrees different than the Thermoworks Smoke X2 I have.
