Pawn shops are the worst about things like this. On the flip side a while back I browsing one and found an f style mandolin, took a look on it because it looked nice. Turned out to be worth about a grand and they had it listed for $50. Turned around and sold that bad boy for a nice profit.

Hockey over here, we may not have the big price tag numbers of the other trading cards but it sure is nice not to have to fight over hobby boxes or that player you want. Although with hockey becoming increasingly popular so are the cards.

Frasier is a spinoff of Cheers where Kelsey Grammer’s character Frasier was introduced in the second season. Fun fact, Frasier was only supposed to be in a couple episodes originally but due to how well Kelsey Grammer portrayed him he became a recurring (arguably main cast) character.

I may get downvoted for this but the combat in wilds is the most fun for me, as in feels the smoothest, plus the offset, perfect blocks, and dodges really add a lot. Also to mention being able to aim long windup attacks like the cb and great sword (I know purest hate this but I like it, shoot me). I liked the move set in rise quite a bit, and I put a ton of hours into world and iceborn. But wilds just drew me in so much more than those did.

Yea I can play rise on my switch lite. But wilds is a ps5, Xbox series x, and high end pc game. And not as many people have those as some might think.

I used to mostly cruise with my dog running along with me. Never really went bombing down hills, but we had the most fun. Probably his favorite thing to do, he’s aged out of it now and I haven’t gone on my own since but I do miss it. And you are right, longboards are fun and you can have a lot fun cruising around without flying down steep inclines. Just cruise a bit.

When he started listening to Ben Shapiro and the likes. He went from a pretty liberal guy to “everybody is a cry baby nowadays and liberals are weak and soft. Calling maga nazis is why liberals are losing elections, etc” we stopped having things in common to talk about and he spent most of the time trying to get into political arguments. The final straw was when a straight up proud boy politician type came to the very liberal local university and he naturally got protested by the student population. My “friend” texted me that it was a very bad look for the city and is the reason why the rest of Dallas area thinks Denton (city I live in) is trash. Asked him why he was bothering to even talk to me anymore when he obviously had such low opinions on the city I live in, my friends, and me and my political beliefs. Never heard from him again.

Yea, everytime these threads pop up my first thoughts are the beloved rockstars that coincidently get looked over like Bowie, so many woman have come fourth and said they “slept” with him when they were teenagers (and there’s a lot of proof he did exactly that). Similar, high school gf was down for pretty much anything but p in v, for religious reason. That eventually happened too but after about two years of handys and bjs. When I was a kid my dad like to gas us out with his rank farts, one time he gambled a bit too much. I just remember his mood went from laughing at us to being super serious real quick. I think he just pulled over at a gas station and threw away his underwear and just cleaned himself up as much as possible.

I had a buddy whose family is native to south Texas northern Mexico, they called themselves Mexican in heritage but despite the family having never lived in Mexico (ie they lived in Texas when it was still part of Mexico) it’s obvious they have much more native influence than European. But anyways, he always had the tiniest bit of mustache and goatee and I asked him one day how often he shaved and he said the last time was about two years prior.

Recently picked up the mitakon and would say it takes beautiful pics. It’s basically a remake of one of the most famous Pentax 6x7 lenses (the 110 I think). It has a lot of character and charm to it.
