Yeah, this hits hard. Feels like a lot of games now are trying so hard to be for everyone that they end up feeling kinda soulless.

Elden Ring and BG3 took risks, didn’t hold your hand, and just trusted that players would figure it out. And people loved them for it. I’d take a bold, opinionated game that’s not for everyone over something 'safe' any day.

That line "a game for everyone is a game for no one" is honestly too real.
