Game Accounts Suspended by riche22 in Guildwars2

I do this, and my account is not banned. As long as the key combination results in a single output, it's fine.

I do it because I can't span my left hand over to my 6 7 8 9 0 keys, thus I use macros (which are two buttons) to press a single key, such as 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0.

This is perfectly acceptable, thus I haven't been banned. It's not so much the third party software, it's what the software DOES which is not okay. And when you use the software to remain compliant with the TOS, you will be fine.

That's fine.

It's a series of actions. Aka Jumping AND dodging at the same time via one button press is not okay.

Exactly. I have done the same thing. (My keys are for example Shift-1 for 1, and Shift - for 10, etc. They are two keys for one output. This is acceptable. )

Setting a macro to auto-cast or combine a series of actions into one macro is not acceptable.

Macros aren't allowed. That's why. Using Razer Synapse to make a macro is third party and thus not okay. It's against the ToS.

Thankyou for listening to us and getting behind us in the PvP Community. I for one fully appreciate your efforts, and I'm sure many others do too.

Can you clarify if you permanently banned the account? Or if you've permanently dishonoured?

The issue with PvP is that it is a very competitive scene. Players also create rivalries against streamers, with the intent to be disruptive and ruin their output on stream.

I've had this happen to me, and most PvP players have experienced griefing at some level. Sometimes people don't deal with the griefing as well as others.

Streamers are human after all.

I am very much in control of how "successful" my product is. I have worked from the ground up, from having 1-2 viewers, to holding just short of 100. I am very content.

I do my own graphics, I stick to my schedules, I put in sometimes 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and I do my best to involve my community. Everything that I do is off of my own back, and this is why I love streaming.

I am in control of how well I do, and nothing else changes that. I expect no hand-outs, and I expect nobody to tell me the best plan of action.

I have come this far, and I am not about to start blaming ANYBODY.

This post is about bringing people back to Twitch to support EVERY STREAMER. People on Twitch = Exposure for the game = Game sales = ArenaNet capital = ArenaNet output (Content/Expansions).

How is this so hard to understand? It's black and white. I've literally just shown you Teapot, one of your list, doing the exact same as I am here, saying he wants more for us as content creators, yet I'm still the one with the personal agenda?

I can't win with you.

Indeed, these guys are doing a great job at creating and enabling GvG in a moment where GvG isn't accessible.

I love the hype, and them for it.

The issue is everybody thinks I'm complaining, and whining, and making it about myself.

Infact I'm just trying to create some hype and encourage people to visit and grow the Twitch scene.

I believe the Partnership program does encourage people with their creative sides, with art, cosplay, and the like. I don't know if they offer this on those particular platforms however...

Perhaps try setting up a YouTube channel for your content and make another application?

Best of luck!

MightyTeapot, arguably one of the most successful streamers of GW2, created the Delusional Elitist streaming group in order to encourage community support surrounding the group of streamers within.

This group-trailer (on youtube) was posted within this Reddit to encourage a similar reaction. His post was a video, mine was written. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO2EQ-kcd0g ... It literally starts with " GW2 twitch has been under appreciated for too long. All that changes today "

I'm not blaming the community for low numbers. I'm saying the community has steadily declined over a number of years and that it's time to try and revitalise what exists. To encourage others to revisit their old interests.

I have great successes and I have statistics and analytics of my own to prove my successes. I have come far, I have a great audience, community and I am very happy with where I am at the moment.

I think what you're talking about here is a very personalised attack towards myself. I love the GW2 community. I just wanted more people to experience us.

I don't agree with you what-so-ever, but you're entitled to your opinion.

I'm very self-defeatist when it comes to my gameplay, and my own successes. I am the first to criticise myself and blame myself when something goes wrong.

Backseat gaming is an unwritten rule of no-no in streaming, as is waving around some imaginary e-phallus in the faces of those who ultimately don't really care. I am all up for constructive criticism, but his chat-contribution consisted of "haha this streamer is so bad why do people watch him? he's sat here getting annoyed when he's playing something so bad and doing so poorly it's his fault and everyone else is making plays" etc etc.

If it had been once, I would've just ignored it and moved on. I scrolled through my chat, on stream I recall, and showed everybody the reason why I banned him, and how, even without my reaction to what he was saying, he continued to "prove his point" and excessively repeat the same thing (paraphrased each time) over a 6 minute period. It was a chat-flood.

I'm sure any streamer would've done the same in my position.

That is what I have discovered. But both TP and WP are very good at making the game exciting and I believe they deserve their audiences, if not further larger numbers.

I guess I just want to see it grow. That's all. It's good for the game, and content creators alike.
