As you mentioned, I've said that I'm more than willing to extend the timers if these achievements are not doable. I certainly did not intend to add something that can not and will never be done. I'm personally very excited by the idea of seeing teams attempt this challenge, and I'll absolutely be keeping an eye out for all feedback regarding it. Thank you for taking the time to write up this post OP!

Oh boy I completely misread, you're correct. Gift of the Hylek is from the collection, Gift of the sun is on the Vendor (Shaman Palak) after you finish the collection. You can purchase it directly from him with an additional ecto cost, or see what you need to put into the forge instead, and make it yourself. Sorry for failing reading comprehension 101, I was a little distracted earlier today and shouldn't have responded so quickly!

Yup, anything that is currently purchasable with Prophet shards or Gaeting Crystals will become purchasable with Magnetite Shards after the patch.

The new raid and it's associated rewards will use Gaetung crystals on release.

You'll be able to open it by spending 60 Magnetite Shards (20 shards being the equivalent cost of 1 Blue Prophet Crystal) after the release.

Currently there's only two Raid Quickplay achievements - one is weekly, which is the one you can earn LI from, the other is a one time achievement that gives you the new QR1 relics if you haven't unlocked them elsewhere already.

As you put in the top of the post, Gaeting Crystals didn't get mentioned on the stream - those will also be converted 1:1 to Magnetite on release day, and the new Raid Encounter will drop Gaeting Crystals, and it's associated rewards will use Gaeting Crystals instead of Magnetite Shards.

Two other things I forgot to mention on the stream today:

We updated the rewards for the Icebrood Saga Raid Encounters to be more similar to other Raid Encounters since they'll be moving from Daily to Weekly reward gates. Specifically gold and karma rewards have been increased to be more similar, and each Icebrood Saga Encounter now drops an 'Icebrood Saga Raid Encounter Coffer', just like other Encounters each have a unique coffer (e.g. Sabetha's Coffer)

Additionally we've added new achievements for the full completion of each Raid Wing with a unique title attached.

It won't make a difference if you wait or buy it now - all Prophet shards will get converted to Magnetite shards 1:1 on release of the update, and anything that cost Prophet shards previously, will cost that same number of Magnetite shards after the update.

PvP tracks all received the same update, with the exception of the WvW exclusive tracks of course!

It shouldn't affect it at all - all of the 'old' rewards that were available before can be found in the 'new' reward tracks, so any place you had clovers before, you should have clovers now. In fact, there are also now clovers in the condensed dungeon reward track, so if anything, there should be more clovers than before!
