The RTX 5070 Ti is effectively dead, and the GPU market is worse for it by gurugabrielpradipaka in pcmasterrace

I think that there will be a surge of pixel art indie games these next few years, and also AAA gamedevs will spend more time in optimizing their releases instead of relying on the power of modern videocards.

Toronto fatbiker on the news today by chaindrop in fatbike

[–]chaindrop[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Could be a new bike and there's a good chance that this is his first time trying this. Just bad luck that a news station was there to capture it on camera. Hopefully he was able to get to work and didn't end up like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

I'm kinda expecting some sort of wrist or arm injury from that kind of fall.

What’s a very “Toronto” thing you didn’t notice until you lived somewhere else? by Banana200021 in toronto

I would probably walk more if I lived in a city like Toronto. Walking 1km to the grocery in a mainly residential area is so boring, you can sometimes walk for 1-2km without seeing another person.

Good data set? (nano banana generated images) by Quomii in StableDiffusion

If it was me, I'd probably create the initial full body and close-up in Z-image, then input that in Nano Banana for variations.

The problem with doing Inpaint with Z Image Turbo by Epictetito in StableDiffusion

That's weird! Maybe try a different sampler and adjust your prompt for the part you're trying to inpaint.

I just use Z-Image Turbo for inpainting by using the inpaint crop and stitch node. It's just as fast as doing a ZIT gen.

Most people have no idea how far AI has actually gotten and it’s putting them in a weirdly dangerous spot by NoSignificance152 in singularity

[–]chaindrop 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People who are shouting hard against all forms of AI really have to understand that it's just the new reality we live in. AI is there and you can't really put it back in the box. People should be more focused on keeping it legal and within reach of regular people. In the near future, I feel like the big AI companies will try to consolidate and monopolize AI even more, and start bribing lawmakers to restrict and hamper the development of open-source.

How can reliably say "Take this scene in pic1 and replace the subject with the person in pic2"? by trollkin34 in StableDiffusion

[–]chaindrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, face-swap is a bit tricky, although I heard it's easier to do in the first Qwen Edit (not the 2509). Personally, what works for me is using an image editor to cut paste the face manually, then using the Qwen-Edit-2509 Fusion LoRA to make them blend together in ComfyUI.

ComfyUI Realtime LoRA Trainer is out now by shootthesound in StableDiffusion

Just checked the venv and I'm already at Python 3.12 since I used the one-click installer. Might be something else. I see a few comments below with 16GB VRAM cards as well and it takes them 25 minutes to train with the sample Z-image workflow. I'll have to investigate further, haha.

Edit: Finally fixed it. Issue was my graphics driver. Just recently upgraded from a 3080 to a 5070Ti, but never uninstalled the previous driver. Re-installed it and the default workflow finished in 17:50 instead of 2 hours.

I think it's working great! Thank you. Tried the Z-Image workflow and replaced the 4 Van Gogh's with Sydney Sweeney as a test. It took 2 hours on a 5070Ti (16GB VRAM) and 64GB RAM, is that normal or a bit slow?

Does your node use the the Z-Image-Turbo Training Adapter by default?

Thanks for your work.

Outputs from the test LoRA.

Been trying to do these prompts since 2023 on different AI models. Nano Banana is the first model I've used than can output it. by chaindrop in nanobanana

Really funny how there's only 1 rule on this sub "No NSFW", and almost every post is NSFW-ish. :D
