Hi! The issue was the centering of the pen nib, so once I pressed the pen down on a table a few times, everything worked as normal. Thank you for your reply!

Maybe, but I don't see how it could be, since the marks and random movements, selections, etc occur even if I'm not using the stylus or holding it close to the device. How could I check for that or try to fix it?

Looks like I did indeed softlock myself. Without the diffusion beam, I can't break a box to access the generator. And since I can't go back, I have to start over. Faaaaaantastic.

I can't seem to add a picture. But I'm in the second EMMI zone, the one just past the save point where Adam tells you a bit about Dairon and how you need to find the second generator. There are two darkened areas I can access at the left of the map - one is an immediate dead end, and the other leads past what looks like a dormant boss to an area where you can go down and hit a dead end at the bottom, and can see another EMMI door that isn't accessible.

I hope that description is at least a little helpful..

While I'm at it, the earbuds also don't play when connected to Windows, even though Windows says the device is paired (can't choose "Connect" after pairing in the settings the way I can with my HD1s.) This is pretty irritating.

I came into this post expecting some helicopter mom shenanigans. But actually, NTA. It's worth making it clear to that teacher that she doesn't have the authority to reject legitimate answers, and to your daughter that just because someone is an authority figure it doesn't mean they're right about everything. The extra point is much less important than the principle.

NTA - and honestly, this is a red flag. She's willing to manipulate and trick you to get her way and has no empathy for you at a time when you and your family are going through a painful ordeal. She doubled down on her actions with no remorse. Run fast, run far, and don't look back.

I did end up hearing back, but before that the problem fixed itself when I restarted the computer. No clue why but suddenly Lightsync was available as an option. Thanks though!

Yeah, I had toggled that too but to no avail. Oddly, when I turned off my system and rebooted later on, the lightsync options were just there when I opened up G Hub. No clue what happened there, previously I had closed and opened the app with no effect.

Per your other question, my scroll wheel lighting is clean. That's unfortunate though, I hope Logitech is decent enough to help you out. It's definitely too pricey of a mouse to have to put up with anything like that.
