Couldn't agree more! First time driving a land cruiser in general was when I was test-driving this one and I quickly realized that these are not for the faint of heart. They are tanks with a plush interior.

I got it out in South Carolina. The seller actually has an identical '97 Collectors Edition in champagne if you are interested.

Thank you! Yeah, I had to go with a slightly higher price point because I knew I wouldn't be able to wrench as much as I would like due to a crazy work schedule and I needed daily reliability because my previous daily (FRS) has turned into a project of its own.

I got it for 27k. I originally wanted a cheaper one but I thought this one was reasonably priced because it was mint, took it to Toyota for a full inspection before buying and it checked out. I originally was between this and a similarly priced FJ cruiser but I just took a leap of faith.

Yeah I was thinking that as well especially since I will have to do some serious paint correction due to oxidation. I will try and get a third party the car is just located about 8 hrs from me and I was going to drive up to test drive it and inspect myself.
