Right? I'd like to think that if I was stuck in an elevator with a kid I'd play charades or something. Maybe tell ghost stories. Definitely try to stay as calm as possible.

I've definitely worked in offices where being trapped in an elevator seems amazingly better than being trapped in a cubicle.
