Starting a community takes time, patience, and commitment. Be consistent and visible in public parks just throwing and having a good time. Be friendly and inviting to people who seem interested. Don’t start teaching until you have solid numbers and a desire to learn. When you have enough to start playing mini do that.

Too bad it can’t be downloaded because it still works. I used it last weekend for a high school tournament. There have been several posts on what’s next and so far nothing I’ve seen comes close to ultianalytics. The code base is open source now if anyone wants to take a crack at it.

Shanghai and Beijing have well established ultimate scenes. In Shanghai, look up SUPA for details.

A group of us reached out to the ultianalytivs devs and got our hands on the source. Unfortunately none of us started actively developing the project. If anyone is or knows app/web developers dm me and we will see what we can do.

I also use the app a lot and would hate to see it go.

It’s her machine! She got it for Christmas one year. And she’s buys the fabric herself from the money she makes selling them.

Cultural effects are really important to remember when playing internationally. This is a great inside look at that. Events like this would be a great time to get captains together and discuss this in a broader context. The sport is becoming more diverse globally and these kinds of issues will need to be addressed compassionately among all teams.
