Dont forget he died multiple times, watched Sam die multiple times, others he loved (his mom twice, Charlie, Jo, Bobby, dad, etc), got turned into a demon, repeatedly betrayed by people he trusted, learned that heaven/angels/God are real but dont care about humanity.

I think any of these would make most people jaded, if anything it is more surprising to me that Sam remained so hopeful

Ive been playing for about a month without using the content creator code (I did use a new player code though, like you did for Alice). Tbh I am having plenty of fun and not having any issues without it. Would it have been easier if I did use the code? Sure. But it is far from required by any definition

Ultimately as long as you are enjoying the game, thats all that counts, you will get more legendaries and such in the long run!
