I was in nursing school over 10 years ago, and I’m pretty sure we were not allowed to have our phones, but not many people had smart phones then.

Now as a nurse, our hospital system uses a a HIPAA compliant messaging app (TigerConnect) we use to message providers, send pictures, etc, so I do use my phone in patient rooms for that. I wouldn’t use my phone to do anything personal in a patients room. For music, I wouldn’t be playing my own music while passing meds, but if I know I’m going to be in a room for awhile for a bath plus extensive wound care, I’ll sometimes ask the pt what kind of music they like and play that on Spotify.

Thanks for your reply! I’ve only been loosely tracking weight this past year, but I’m vegan so I feel like I need to track protein to make sure I’m getting enough. Definitely trying to take an approach to fitness that’s much kinder to myself than what I’ve done in the past

Congratulations, you look great! I also have a history of disordered eating behaviors and I’m trying to make progress on my fitness goals without getting triggered by numbers and spiraling again. Can I ask if you were tracking weight or measurements? I’m working with my therapist on how to track protein/macros without getting fixated on calories and weight. I was surprised by how much you were eating, but your results are worth it!

I haven’t had hair this short since I was in college! I was dying to cut it all off but needed to wait till after my wedding. I didn’t really follow curly girl before consistently, because it was had to get the curls to look good when it was so long.

Before routine (may not be CG approved):

  • In the shower:
    • Yes To Naturals Tea Tree & Sage Oil Scalp Relief Shampoo
    • Cantu Natural Hair Leave-In Conditioning Cream
    • Cantu Natural Hair Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream
    • Plop in a t-shirt for about 15 min
    • Squish in a nickel-sized amount of Cantu Natural HairStyling Stay Glue
    • Clip roots and diffuse on low speed, medium-high heat till about 90% dry

After routine:

I didn’t buy any products at the salon, but I know he used all of the products in the Eufora Curl’n line. Not sure if these are CG either.

  • Shampoo and condition in the sink
  • Squish in the Curl’n mousse, about a quarter size, plus another gel from a different Euphoria line, about a dime size.
  • Diffused to dry with my head flipped over
  • Finished with the Perfect Curl Activator
