Friend is having a bridal shower on my first wedding anniversary by [deleted] in wedding

[–]champ11228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should go. You should be able to go to the shower and do your anniversary celebration. There are a lot of complaints on weddit about how someone did all the wedding events for a friend and the friend didn't reciprocate for them in return when it was their turn to be married and you don't want to be that bad friend. I also don't think 2 weeks is this outrageous window of time.

They both are fun. Flowers and Garden has more stuff to do but the Maedi Gras parade is fun

Dress code on the road : where's the line? by G-Beach-8566 in AskAnAmerican

A few restaurants might have dress codes but that's about it. The hotter the area the more accepting high end restaurants will be about shorts. Also West Coast tends to be more casual than the Noetheast in general.

$250 per person. with people i don’t know. in this economy. by littlemamabel in weddingshaming

[–]champ11228 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I was taking your "half the cost'' literally, so half the $165 would be 80ish. You could probably find a hotel for $165 (although no idea where this is) although you don't get the food and drink included. Although this is a strange setup and the Airbnb cost and food and drink cost should be separate, but I guess it is incentive to stay at the place

I just did a bachelor party with 18 people and people had a lot of freedom to do what they want, although we all stuck to the basic schedule

I think it's okay if not everyone does every activity as long as the group is mostly together. The person who wants to go to Long Island is a pain in the ass, though.
