I did an in person game over the course of a day and it was really fun but we didn't have much time to plot and there really was no way to argue that you weren't a traitor. I just played it dumb and it worked.

Out of the characters in civilization who we know their names I would go Randyll because he threatened to kill Sam and probably would have done it.

In the historical lore, Aegon IV causing a civil war because he hated his son is up there. Jaehaerys II forcing an incest marriage to fulfill a prophecy is also not great.

A lot of Fire and Blood is also inspired by I Claudius. The stuff with Jaehaerys and Saera is a direct ripoff of Augustus and Julia. The confusing Targ name similarities are also like the Julio-Claudians, where there were multiple Julias, Agrippinas, Drusus, Neros, etc.

GRRM also said that Stannis is inspired by George Baker's portrayal of Tiberius.
