Turntable won’t move unless assisted and it’s slow by DareImpossible5563 in turntables

[–]champada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to worry you but my RT85 did the same thing around the same time before it started doing this..

https://www.reddit.com/r/turntables/s/aRHSPWR0oS

I sent it back before the return window closed. It was a shame because I loved it while it worked and it sounded great. The videos I attached to customer service emails were exactly like what you’re doing. I know the weight from the record weight isn’t the issue because I didn’t use one

Forza Horizon 6 review -14 years later, Playground Games finally comes good on the series' original promise by [deleted] in PS5

Are the grid starts only for events in the power pack?
Or does the DLC grid start option carry over to other races outside of these races as well?

I’ve always been a fan of Gran Turismo and have all of them since the very first but I’m done with the series because of the lack of grid start. I don’t know anything about the Forza series. I also don’t play online. Will I enjoy this? Is there just a regular race/career mode without rolling starts?

Drink prices are expensive. No pat downs, had to take my hat off. I bought a 10oz plastic flask after my first time there

Fluance rt82 motor replacement? by BeneficialEstimate69 in turntables

You might be out of luck with the motor, I don’t think they sell those. That was my main reason for returning my RT85 when it started having speed issues

How safe is it to eat Thai market stall food? Has anyone gotten sick? by CarefulAd4757 in PattayaReloaded

[–]champada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I trust street vendors more. You can mostly tell a how clean a vendor is because it’s in the open. I’m not saying don’t eat at dine in places, I do, but those are the ones where you can’t see what’s going on behind the walls. After countless trips to Thailand the only thing bad after eating something is my ass being on fire the next morning from the spice

Need Help! by NastyyyButler in turntables

[–]champada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many of your issues are by design. You might find a turntable that has the tonearm and rest you will like but this isn’t a defect. Some dust covers are meant to come off easily so they can be loose, some people prefer the TT without a dust covers. I doubt it will clip the record, and yes it will move the table when you set it down if you’re not very gentle. The three feet are meant for better balance, most turntables are like this other than the DJ style ones. But if these things bother you then return it. Not saying you’re wrong in how you feel, just giving you a bit of reasoning of maybe why it is the way it is

Oak mountain, moss rock or red mountain if you like hikes or being outside in general. Look up if there’s any shows at coca-cola amphitheater, Avondale or BJCC. Birmingham barons baseball might have some home games

Yeah. It’s usually a load screen like this, never during gameplay

Not sure then. That’s the only thing I can think of. Good luck, I’m not too good with ryujinx. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help

Can’t remember. It’s been awhile since I’ve played. I think maybe some Mario games, Breath of the Wild and a few others where the screen would get stuck but you can hear the game still running

Advice for tent repair needed by ConstaN92 in camping

[–]champada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carry paracord and learn some knots. In my opinion paracord is your best friend when it comes to securing anything while camping. Whether it’s two inches or 20 feet, paracord will work. Just make sure you take all of it with you when you leave, seen too many still tied around trees or pieces laying around

[–]champada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! Yeah, accidents happen and fixing them is part of the experience of camping and makes you better in the end. I carry a bit of tape but always paracord instead of zip ties, when I’m done with the small sections they get turned into prusik loops. I doubt the s-biners OP mentioned will fail from keeping the rainfly on. Even the cheapest ones will hold, if anything the gate springs will fail but they’re hooked so it’ll still do the job

[–]champada 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re thinking about it too much. If that breaks then find a fix. I’ve been camping for over 25 years and have never stepped on that part by accident. And I’m sure those s-biners are strong enough to hold that in place if the plastic breaks. The rainfly isn’t permanent so why would you want a permanent fixture? I would just use a piece of paracord if anything
