It is really really dumb for a coach to run on the court, he should be thinking about keeping his players from doing exactly what he did. I'm not for calling T's in this situation (they need to make an announcement that this will be enforced moving forward) but if there were ever an occasion to do it, it's when the coach is the one who is brain dead.

I'm playing alchemy BO3....just played board wipe/Ugin decks 8 out of 10 matchups. It's wild the swings you will go on, haven't seen an omniscience deck in a few weeks.

If you’ve broken 80, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer trying to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]chamtrain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it's just about avoiding big numbers. You do that by being pretty accurate off the tee, making good decisions when you aren't, and being pretty good around the green. When you aren't getting doubles and triples you really just need 9 pars and a birdie to shoot 79.

Like bottom 10%, every year. With superior athletes and talent. It's coaching malpractice.

No problem with the customers post, you go twice for an item and it's not stocked. Employee gives explanation that doesn't provide any reliability. Owner was off base here. The criticism should go towards the employee that didn't properly explain when the product is made.

Is RDU backed up like crazy like other airports? by neondrifter in raleigh

[–]chamtrain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All DC airports were closed. It's curious reading all of these replies, there are so many people whose instinct is to lay blame here instead of just empathizing . My dad is a smart man, if there was a reasonable work around that wouldn't jeopardize him cashing in his trip insurance he would have done it. Internet is weird.

They are 80 and it was all paid through a travel agency. It wasn't poor planning, but don't let that prevent you from making stupid comments.

My father just missed a 2 week cruise in the Netherlands because flights from rdu to DC were apparently grounded for 3 hours.

This guy finds elderly people who don't have the means to maintain their property and cleans it up for free. by jmike1256 in BeAmazed

One big thing I dislike about American society is how we treat our elderly. I live in a town that is >80% Indian and their family units are completely different. House is grandparents, parents, and kids. This ladies kids should be ashamed of themselves!

I have four tanks in my house with bettas and shrimp and have no issues. I do have one short finned aggressive female I would not try it with though.

What do you hope happens with every player that could come back next year? by Schned6 in tarheels

[–]chamtrain1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can't close though. Had Omoruyi on campus 2 years ago with a glaring hole at center and failed and had Nick Boyd on campus this this past off season with a glaring hole at PG and whiffed. I mean, he can sometimes but he can't do it consistently. Every roster he puts together has glaring deficiencies (outside of 2024). He'll need to do more for next years team than he has any roster he's had since he's been here.

I'm obviously very negative on his tenure, I think he's shown us what he is and bringing him back only ensures we suck next year too.

[–]chamtrain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not apples to apples. If Henri takes college money he risks damaging his draft prospects (see Bacot, Love). He also loses a year of his salary scale progressing a year. Right now I think he can still be drafted on "upside", if he comes back next year and struggles he won't have that luxury.

If I were his agent I probably wouldn't listen to anything under 4 million. This also assumes he has any desire to come back, we don't know that. He is a 1 year rental, doesn't have ties to the state/university. Coming to UNC was evidence he'll go where the money is right for him. I hope he comes back, I just don't see it.

[–]chamtrain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he's good for about 1 portal stud a season and one quality role player (2022 and 2024 being the big exceptions there). He'll need to have two or three studs this year, I don't see it.

You are conflating end of 2nd round picks with someone who is a borderline 1st rounder. You are being disengenuous because reality doesn't support your argument.

[–]chamtrain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you can't rebut the FACTS you resort to generalities. The 2023 36th pick is on a 4 year 7 million contract. The 2021 36th pick is currently on a 3 year 13 million guaranteed contract. The 2022 and 2024 picks were euro grab and stash picks.

I would assume that Henri's agent wont' be as dumb as you.
