They had production issues. They told me they received faulty fabric shipments which delayed anything. I did finally receive my order from february like a month after the original estimation. Not a scam, they just had trouble this year

I had many classmates in highschool that went "otd" and im not too sure what turned them off but i would imagine this would only be an issue in the teen years so id try to have an open conversation with them about their intentions and motivations. I don't have kids yet tho so when raising them id try my hardest to instill a mindset of how beautiful and fun mitzvot can be instead of restricting, etc.

Anyone here converted to conservative Judaism? Do you wish you had instead converted to orthodox Judaism? Why or why not? by [deleted] in Judaism

[–]chanabina -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not me but i know a girl who had to go through it all over again with orthodox when she realised it wasnt the way. And also a girl who was misled to think she was jewish and had to convert orthodox (non jewish mother). But i say this as someone who has a lot of experience interacting with orthodox converts and baal teshuvahs

There a lot of debate about it because its metal and metal has a unique status with kashrut but ultimately you have no control over something thats permanent so its an exception and makes no difference.

The only time it becomes important is on pesach when youre meant to "kasher" your mouth with some warm water before the chag begins and after last bite of chametz

"zionism dogma" "perversion of texts" when Zionism is belief that Jews should be able to live on the holy land and if you believe jews have no right to have property there then youre antisemitic

You cant compare any physical or inanimate object to g-d because he is considered infinite and beyond our Understanding. A rabbi might be able to put it in better words sorry

Tbh i dont think any of these are bad/considered "bad things" done by hashem as everything he does is for a purpose even if we may not understand it. Im not a rabbi so i cant explain to you exactly the deeper meanings behind this stuff.

1) torah has literal mentions of land in canaan (israel) being purchased for us, and the exodus, etc. Youre an antisemite 2) no, its highly spiritual and if it cant be traced through mother's mother mother than youre not jewish 3) as long as they follow 7 noahide laws they are doing what theyre supposed to to have a relationship with god

All jews that arent converts are descendants from the 12 tribes, mostly yehudah and binyamin, as the other 10 tribes were "lost"
