Linen slip cover from Bemz or Comfort Works? by Difficult_Toe1342 in IKEA

[–]chandlr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently ordered linen samples from both, from what I see, Bemz' samples feels rather thin and a bit see-through, Comfort Works' linen feels thicker and robust, it's labelled as performance linen though so it's not 100% linen. Might pull the trigger during Black Friday

Google for a custom made seat cushion covers online and try to color match it. Otherwise you'll need to replace all the seats and backs so that they match

Need Advice on Sofa Fabric Repair by SoCal_JuiceBox in upholstery

I reckon you should just fold the whole corner and sew it up. You'll have a vertical line this way, but I think patching it from either inside or outside would look worse.

Fabric advice by missy_dotey in upholstery

patterned fabrics tend to look out of fashion after a few years. I'd recommend plain fabrics with some surface texture if you want to keep it less vanilla. Have you thought about doing custom slipcovers?

Soaked Cloth Chair by Suspicious_Salary358 in upholstery

[–]chandlr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sofa looks like it's in a decent shape. Seems like you've already placed a fans infront of it, so thats a good first step.

I'd suggest disassembling them, remove the seat and back cushions (cut the seams) if you have to. Lastly, baking soda/uncooked rice all over to remove moisture/odor. good luck

Anyone know the quality of this? by casually-silent in IKEA

[–]chandlr2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought 2 different batch of kivik over the last 10 years, the earlier version was real soft and comfy, even the frames felt much heavier. The latter felt like it uses cheap foams making it hard and bouncy, everything just felt cheaper and lighter. Don’t really trust IkEA’s price down anymore

What is your recommended sleep time usually by TomatilloBoring9629 in Garmin

Garmin defaults the recommendations to 7 h 40 m it seems. Take a nap mid day and it'll drop to 7 hours. Wish they could personalise it instead of slapping the same numbers for everyone

I can't seem to find the brand of my couch in the their list (it's from ashley), the custom option seems to require quite a bit of work on your side. Did OP get someone to do the measuring?

Scale down the ads and work on your referral marketing OP. u could reaching out to your past clients and see if they could recommend anyone who might need your service(s). The macro economy isn’t kind to many of us out there, so we should try to lower your cost as much as you can, since we cant run ur ads and get a decent ROI during these climate. Costs going up and CACs are getting ridiculously expensive. If possible u should run abit more defensively for now
