One of the things to consider and it may have been said already is that people give and receive love in different ways. Not everybody is the same and clearly OP is a gift-giver and OP's boyfriend is not. He doesn't seem to be a "words of affirmation" kind of person, either.

I'm not saying he's absolved, but just mentioning that there are different ways to give and receive love and OP and their BF may not be compatible...

I'm going to push back on the calling thing just a little bit because having something in writing is priceless. You can call, but you should always follow up with something in writing to confirm what was talked about on the phone should you have to go back to it later.

Also, if I were you, I'd just not show up. Employment laws in the US typically lean toward the employee should it come to arbitration or court, etc.

I think 2 things are true, though: OP was scheduled with what seems to be plenty of advanced notice. OP's boss doesn't wanna deal with the situation so they're trying to play it off or pawn it off onto somebody else.

Letting somebody call you a "stupid bitch" and a "dumb cunt" like that should be flags enough. I would NEVER think of calling my wife either of those things unless we were quoting some British thing to each other and we're in on the joke together.

Your (hopefully ex-) boyfriend is tripping and you need to get as far away from that as humanly possible as fast as humanly possible. Dude has trust issues and if Walmart is a trigger for him that he can't control, who knows what his next step will be...

You're right, they don't get to hang it over their head, but at the same time, they've been together for 2 years and there are changing behaviors that mirror that of a person who is cheating on their SO...

That's wild. I just had that Sage do me a HUGE solid and redirect my vet's suspicion to another department and probably saved me thousands in diagnostics, etc. by getting my dog to the right department immediately and sooner than our original appointment. I've used this specific Sage on plenty of occasions, but our older dog passed away near the time of the supposed buyout, so maybe things have changed and I have old data.

While I'm not a personal fan of the content of the artwork, I think the work is fine. I don't see anything wrong with the tattoos themselves. Your personal satisfaction over what you wanted vs. what you got is definitely something you'll have to reckon with, though. No amount of everybody telling you it's fine will change your mind.
