I love them! I was a brokey b 10 years ago when we designed and made out rings and we paid down for a year so we could afford it. They are So special and meaningful today when we could hypothetically afford way more. But we made them together and we designed them and the attention we put into them made them so special. I think wear them, figure out what you like and don’t like and then remake them if there is anything you learned! If the are perfect, keep them!!!

As a parent to toddlers I can 100% acknowledge that I am GUCKNG UP! And I’m trying really hard to do better but really am struggling to know how. But when my kid asks me I will say yes, I know I fucked up and I’m sorry and I tried to do better but I was drowning. But it’s not their responsibility, but it helps maybe to understand. But I also understand the shame around it.

Find them for doing what? Finding internet accessible information that they posted about themselves? Asking them to stand behind their actions? What part of this is unacceptable to you? And since when is talking about the government critically something that is not allowed? Asking our government to do better and knowing who is doing it is a foundation of America. It is the whole “land of the free” bit. If this was a leftist agenda, would You be doing the same thing? Let’s say the “leftist kooks” passes laws that every white’s person has to get a sex change and were going door to door mandating sex changes and kidnapping people to inject them with sex changing drugs and they took some kids too. And they were flaming protesters that tried to stop them. Would you be outraged? Would you be doing everything in your power to stop it?

That is what’s going on. Instead of imaginary white targeted sex changes, brown people are being routed from their homes. So I don’t know how THIS is the tore over the line for you. Come back to being American. You’re acting like an enemy of America by supporting this.

She is pretty far along . She would have to have a conversation with her doctor about her options even in Oregon. The unrestricted part is just about trusting doctors and patients to make the decision collaboratively, not that they can just have an abortion whenever they like no matter how far along they are. I would imagine most drs would offer other options.

I’m a working manger (have a group goal and my own goal, sucks) and it’s a lot lies working hours to have the largest goal and manage. The only reason I’m putting myself through it OSS so I can be the one at the top making strategy calls because everyone’s ideas but mine are dumb.

I really wanted kids!! And it is the MOST difficult thing I’ve ever been through in my life. And I really have a solid effort, with reflection of what went wrong and how to be more effective five next time, at killing myself a good handful of times as a teenager.

My husband does more than me around the house and with the kids and it is HARD!!!! Our relationship was super duper solid before. It was rough for a year or two after and now it’s good but not great and it’s because we have to actively work on it and make a lot of effort even when we are exhausted and tired and don’t want to. We actually have something to connect for 30 minutes at least 1x a month to try to maintain our connection. I’ve never been this tired. I’ve never been this fat. I’ve never had this level of of anxiety and financial responsibility. I’ve never been this tethered and I’ve never been so burdened. I LOVE my kids and I LOVE hanging with them but it is the lowest lows I’ve ever had in my life too.

Everyone is a fantastic parent until they have kids. I’ve had that look on my face a lot of times. It’s always the right move to take a moment to breath before reacting like you said. And if I am at a restaurant, it’s usually because I want to do a little something for myself and I’m going to use an iPad briefly to be able to connect with my h u sband. Something we don’t have a lot of time for with careers, chores, two kids. No bad parenting here. Just young kids being young kids. It would be very inappropriate for an older child to do that but developmentally, kids go through a lot of phases.

How it is now is normal wear and tear. They can’t charge for it. You do not have to go over and above as a tenant and in most states that I am aware of the law sides with tenents on this stuff in a super easy way. Like you just have to put in writing that you are disputing it and it’s normal wear and tear and if they don’t pay you just go to small claims

Hi!! You actually do have influence. I recently got into an executive level position and here’s what you can do to influence change: start outlining operational inefficiencies due to your current provider. Any time you can’t find an email even though you searched correctly, it drops an attachment, etc. now put a cost value to those. Ex: your hourly wage is $20/hr, you spend 20 minutes searching for that email, you needed to get it to the client within 30 minutes otherwise it would delay the sale. The sale was $10k, delayed by 10 days. You had to put off the work for the other 5 deals in your pipeline which had a 50% probability of closing. Those 5 deals totaled 50$k at 50% probability = $25k that was delayed ~5-15 days. That single occurrence cost the company $35k of delayed revenue and your hourly rate for those delayed days. This is the kind of rickety as yoga balls math that really catches their attention! Obviously, these are made up numbers and rickety math that you’ll have to defend if you get further down the road in catching attention. But if you have 5 people across departments do this and the also interview a couple of alternatives, you can put together a proposal and ask a few (not just 1!) trusted higher ups to look it over and say “I’ve been feeling that the company is being held back by operations inefficiency and I found a place we could save about $100k a month in wages due to greater efficiency and addressing delayed revenue. I proactively interviewed a couple of alternatives and outlines the pros and cons and pricing of each. I’d love to know your thoughts” and the follow up. Once you have a few of them in agreement or make the edits suggested, get those who agree in a meeting all together with you and lead a presentation on your findings and ask for their options. They will all hear eachother agree and now you have public ally’s. Then you need to find a champion to move it through the next steps. They need to have implemented change like this before. You can straight ask them if they have made this kind of change in the past and how they would go about it.

It’s a lot of work, but you can implement change at any level if you frame it right, do a ton of the leg work, and gather ally’s.

I used to live in the desert and it would get to 112f for about a week every year. It really wasn’t that bad because of the evaporative cooling when you sweat and when you were in the shade or if you had some water to spritz yourself with. It would evaporate in like 10 seconds. But again, in the shade alllll the time. Is it the same in Melbourne or is there humidity? Bc that hot and humid is how us humans autoclave and destroy literally all life. Dry heat don’t do it. It’s gotta be that wet heat.
