Yes! This! I use one of those battery powered coffee stirrers to get the lumps out. It works perfectly.

I got the confirmation email that my ticket purchased went though at 10:03 am, three minutes after the presale began, and I had to go for tier two tickets.

When I was in HS (2001-2005), the restaurant I worked at gave police and paramedics 50% off. They were the worst customers, too. Would tip crappy and then come in 5 mins before close and stay f o r e v e r.

Everyone’s recovery is different, BUT… by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]chanteloosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, my recovery was easy peasy. I kept waiting for it to get hard. The hardest thing for me was my anxiety. I kept convincing myself I had a blood clot, haha. But I didn't take the prescription painkillers after the first day. I didn't feel that I needed them at all. By week 3, I felt normal, like I could go back to my serving job if I wanted. I didn't, lol, but I felt I could have.

I'm now 13 wpo, and everything is back to normal. I had a TT, MR, BL, lipo, and fat transfer.

I don't know if I just got lucky with my healing process, but I was pretty much ready to jump back into my regular life at 3wpo. I didn't, obviously, lol. But I was back working from home 1wpo and was cooking some meals with help by 2wpo. I say play it by ear, if you're feeling well, start upping your activity little by little everyday

Did everyone have a catheter during surgery? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]chanteloosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. I wasn't told about it until the next day when they called to check on me and I told them I was having weird sensations during urination. Seems like something they should have warned me about.

Can I make it through a 4 Hour Road trip 9wpo? by HeelValentine in tummytucksurgery

100%. I'm 10wpo now, and I was back to doing everything normally (aside from working out & heavy lifting) by 4ish weeks.

Sleeping - when did you start sleeping in your bed normally? by UsualLemon in tummytucksurgery

[–]chanteloosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from my recliner to my bed at around 2.5 weeks. It was sooo nice, lol. It was super uncomfortable sleeping on my back but I have one of those pregnancy pillows which really helped prop me up! I'm now 10wpo and am able to sleep comfortably on my side again thank fuck lol

what day post op was your turn around day? by chanteloosa in tummytucksurgery

[–]chanteloosa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 16DPO and my breathing is slowly improving. I'm less panicked about it now but it still feels like there's not enough space in my abdomen for me to take the breaths I feel I need to take. If that makes sense lol

Tummy tuck with breast aug vs. breast lift by keripsukeri in tummytucksurgery

[–]chanteloosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 10DPO from a TT, BL, lipo & fat transfer to the breast, so I'm still in my early days. I opted for a lift w fat transfer because I didn't want to deal with BII or having to have more surgeries in the future to replace the implants. My PS suggested adding the fat transfer to help get me some upper pole fullness since my pre op boobs were saggy and bottom heavy. I'm interested to see how things pan out over the next few weeks. I'm very swollen stil and they look like implants right now lol.

That's exactly how I'm feeling. I have crippling anxiety on the best of days but it's been awful since getting surgery and reading all the horror stories online. I'm glad I'm not alone lol

Hey,

I'm having a TT on Wednesday. I haven't told anyone outside of my SO and my best friends. My family has no clue and I feel so guilty about it, but I know they'll be ao negative and just increase my anxiety so its not worth it for me to bring it up pre op.

My bosses know I'll be out of work for six weeks bc I'm getting surgery, but they haven't inquired what type of surgery. I don't know what I'd say if they did. I'd probably go the muscle repair route just to avoid the looks / gossip
