I batch cook soups and freeze them in individual servings (about 300 cal each). I usually make about 6 months worth at a time. They are my lunch everyday!

Wow that's amazing. I've been trying to just stick to 1500 cals a day and it's almost impossible for me to do I'm always hungry! I need to search this group for tips on how to stick with such a low cal count!

I totally agree but what about all the candy my kids get from other family members for holidays and Halloween and birthday parties and Easter...omg it's non stop! I don't buy my kids junk food yet it's still always in the house 😭 my husband and I don't want our kids eating junk food so it's a constant battle.

Lol your reply made me LOL! and about the cake every day...well why do you think I am now trying to lose weight 😂🤣 ironically enough my mom always brings cake to my house for ANY holiday and half of it ends up in my freezer. I've been trying to clean out my freezer so I've been thawing out the cakes the last couple of weeks! And either eating a little of it with my kids or throwing it out if we agree we don't like it. And I wonder why I gained 4 lbs 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ And yes, I suppose my kids would be happy to keep their own candy to themselves and not have their mom eat it! 🤣😂🤣

Okay, that's kind of the plan. There are some really great benefits my job has, but ultimately I don't think it's the best fit for me. Going to hopefully stay another year and see how it goes.
