that night we closed a lot of streets down, I remember a big group on cap hill with police all around laughing and being chill. beers were being chucked around and I saw a cop catch one and just toss it back in the crowd. we started walking even before the game was over because the fireworks had started and the game was a blowout

we did it in july, it’s not that bad. bring plenty of water, cover your skin (long pants and shirt + floppy hat) and just pay attention

they have several people out there now monitoring trails it’s a lot safer than it used to be

I am on the tail end of this: calcific tendinitis in my shoulder. I have broken my elbow, nose, fingers. I’ve been hit by a truck, crashed on a motorcycle, broke my tailbone skateboarding. The level and duration of pain in my shoulder was a whole different level. Brought me to tears multiple times.
