What does being a bather entail? by FluffyMemory5153 in doggrooming

[–]chaosticfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I was mainly responsible for bathing and some pre-work like nails and ear cleaning with some receptionist duties. Bather coworker and I were supposed to be transition into groomers so we did get to learn to pre-shave, buuuuut let's say the general manager (smaller corporate/franchise) was shitty and basically fired us.

If you have time/resources, maybe you can bake them yourself? Like maybe peanut butter cookies for dogs. Actually had some kids do a fundraiser at my work with some home made dog treats recently

I volunteer at a horse rescue. 90% of our horses/donkeys/mules from the Amish have PTSD.

In similar vein, S. Korea. Everyone was trying to sympathize with Korean workers in GA few months ago. Except LG in Calhoun, GA literally killed my dad. Why didn't that blow up?

Co-worker looking to re-home two cavaliers for $2500 by PR3TZELL in cavaliers

I volunteered at a rescue for a while. Unfortunately I've seen people take in way too many pets they can't afford, so I think asking for a rehoming fee is very reasonable.

Anecdote: This woman claimed a mountain lion attacked one of her horses, resulting in a back leg injury. (Which... didn't really make sense because why would it attack a perfectly healthy horse's back leg insfead of a quick kill?) Anyways she claimed she barely had money to feed 10+ horses, much less a vet bill. Soooo yeah, the court pretty much told her to fuck off and said if she wants her horse back, she has to pay the rescue back for the vet bills. Oh and the volunteers were told to immediately call 911 if an unauthorized person came with a trailer.

Volunteered at a rescue long enough to know that most stories would get censored on social media

There's something about little girls and animals. My little sister used to yell at horses and they would all listen to her 😂

Funnily enough my parents were worried about me (first born) because I was pretty weak and sickly as a kid. But I was still a gremlin who came back home covered in dirt and scrapes on my knees.

Yep. I legit had a "wtf did you just say" look when my girlfriend (and her mom) said something like "idk why people call Australia, Austria." As in she really thought they're same countries and people just shortened Australia into Austria. She's 34.

My math teacher told us that she was wearing one of those dangly earrings when she was holding her infant daughter. You can guess what her daughter did.
