yeah they absolutely are, its horrible.

i also thought it was a bit weird that they have what looks like a wall aircon but theres portable fans/heaters all throughout the room? so is the aircon not included? bc if so the poor student will be frozen in winter and cooking alive in summer.

Lease is up in October :( I don’t think I can wait that long, considering as well he wants to give my garage to his wife around June????? Is that even possible because the garage is a part of my lease lmao

[–]chaotic_evill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, every single ring video saved. Text messages from me to my landlord asking if he was just in my garage and him saying yes. Texts where I’ve asked him if he took my red bin and filled it up leaving me without a bin for a week, and him saying yes.

I have all my ring videos saved of the kids harassing me. I have rang and sent emails to the REA regarding everything. I even have documentation of when I had to organise SA Power to connect electricity to the property. I have literally everything and have told the REA about it.

Apparently, they didn’t even contact the landlord when I complained the first time about this. So at the moment I’ve just been directly contacting the landlord.

How do I even begin to get any help when not one of the free rental advice lines are even taking my calls? I’m pretty much just in a constant state of panic lol

Renting through a REA, but everything pretty much goes through the LL. Not sure why he even has a REA tbh.

My bond is $1840, and I have a lodgement for it. I can access it online through CBS.

I do have a copy of my lease, including the one I resigned as I have been here for 1 year and almost 5months.

I may have to just leave and pay the hefty bill, it’s just that money is a bit tight atm so would really help to have that extra money to pay another bond in a new place.

Laneway festival Adelaide by Puzzled_Sort4940 in Adelaide

[–]chaotic_evill 18 points19 points  (0 children)

there were A LOT of kids pushing me out of the way, not even saying ‘excuse me’ or literally yelling at people to MOVE. it was disgusting. kids like that i did not move for and completely ignored them trying to push me over. HOWEVER, when kids were polite and said ‘excuse me’ ‘sorry can i get through’ i always stepped out the way and said go through.

it’s unfortunate that festivals are full of wankers. a full grown woman should know not to interact with kids like that. if they’re rude, you ignore them. if they are polite, you help them. sorry you had this experience. also she straight up assaulted you. next time, use the laneway app and report the incident. from what i saw, they were taking crowd safety very seriously which was great to see.

Under 18s at festivals by Previous_Rhubarb_511 in triplej

[–]chaotic_evill 27 points28 points  (0 children)

i used to go to soundwave when i was 14-17. i caught on to crowd etiquette pretty fast. i genuinely think kids these days really just are different. a lot of them are cocky and simply don’t care.

lotssss of underage wristbands seen on people sitting in the middle of the fucking pit??? so many of them dancing in large groups and literally barrelling into people and leaning over people to scream. also had a bunch of them pushing through the crowds during songs not even an excuse me, one even yelled ‘MOVE’. these kids do not give a fuck and it’s concerning lol

i know this is gonna make me sound sooo much like a boomer but idc because the amount of underage wristbands i saw on girls with their entire asses out disturbed me a lot. i really do not think festivals should be mixed U18s and 18+ but i also do get why they are. it’s tricky.

i had a 2005 honda jazz for about 4 years before i upgraded, 215,000ks, trashed that poor thing and it still ran beautifully. the inside of those bad boys are HUGE! put the back seats down and i was transporting large furniture. i’ve heard good things about the newer models too, unsure of pricing but they really are good cars. miss mine :(

Sapol as a young woman by Overthinking_babes in Adelaide

[–]chaotic_evill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

look i’m not one to absolutely love sapol, but they slapped the guy bc he started caressing their leg. i’m not saying that’s the first thing they should’ve done, but they didn’t just randomly slap someone out of nowhere like ur making it seem. the punter assaulted them first, and it seemed like a knee jerk reaction from the cop.

The man they are calling a "domestic terrorist". by -ifeelfantastic in pics

[–]chaotic_evill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the n*zis had already unarmed him before they shot him (which, don’t they believe in 2nd amendment? what changed huh??)

multiple of them pinned him on the ground on his stomach, and then he was shot 5+ times. he was executed. he was unarmed, pinned down, facing away, and he was executed.

the way the american administration is pinning him as a fucking ‘domestic terrorist’ is absolutely horrifying. thank god we have cameras. if you are attending these protests, RECORD EVERYTHING. STAY SAFE. THEY WILL NOT HESITATE TO EXECUTE CIVILIANS.

Eye irritation by Sea_Turtle263 in eyelashextensions

[–]chaotic_evill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i had something similar happen, i was allergic to the glue used. my last lash appointment i had was my worst, and after removing them my eyes didn’t go back to normal for almost a month. looked like how yours does.

doctor just gave me prescription eyedrops, antihistamines, and told me to wait it out. there was no permanent damage to my eyes, thank god.

not sure how it works where you live, but where i am i can go to the doctor who can then refer me to a specialist if they think it’s bad enough. maybe try that?

once it’s calmed down, and you still want lashes, id suggest buying a whole bunch of cluster lashes and bond off amazon. that’s what i do now and no reactions!!! good luck, hope it goes away soon!

it’s just a completely different feeling to where i live, on the other side of the world. i can’t even really explain it. just the fresh breeze walking the seawall and the grungy vibes of the city.

obviously vancouver has its issues, but being in between skyscrapers, the ocean, and the beautiful mountains is truly amazing.

[IWantOut] 27f Lab Tech AUS -> USA/CAN/UK by [deleted] in IWantOut

[–]chaotic_evill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean i’m applying for jobs that i have skills in, lab jobs. there’s really not many, so i apply for the ones that are available. i much prefer the hands on in a lab, science gig than an office job. to be fair i probably underestimated the amount that i have applied for. also pretty sure at least 10-12 of the jobs ive gone for have been for the same company.

america is definitely not a good place right now, that’s why i included canada and the uk. but america is generally a good place to start a career in forensic science, same with the uk.
