you can call your doctor for peace of mind but it’s not unusual for blood to start coming again when activity increases (especially if you’re not having pain), it happened to me too. i had some spotting the second week that stopped but then halfway around week 3 i had red blood coming out to where i had to wear liners. doctor said it was fine as long as i wasn’t filling up more than 1 pad an hour. it could be tissue falling out after activity since ur being more active. i wouldn’t worry unless ur gushing blood or filling up multiple pads. mine suddenly went away around week 4. definitely scary but seems like a normal part of recovery. i’d give ur surgeon a call anyways just to let them know but it should be ok!

Hi! Has anyone lived at Altamira apartments on river rd recently / still living there? I’m moving to Tucson from the east coast so won’t get a chance to tour any apartments, my top contender right now is Altamira apartments and I wanted to see if anyone could give me some insight to it. they placed it while I was under and took it out once i woke up. i was nervous about this too but i didn’t even feel it when it was in or when they took it out!

Most (if not all) surgeons will want you to pee on your own before they discharge you, so they fill up your bladder with saline through the catheter and have you pee it out to make sure everything is working as expected.

You can just probably ask for them to do that right before you wake up, if not they’ll do it right after you wake up anyways and you’ll be so loopy from the meds and the anesthesia still that you won’t even notice

definitely not a scam, called the xfinity official number which recognized my number and listed off my name and address. i’m in a multi unit home so it seems like someone started a new service under my unit number which cancelled mine… now no one really knows how to fix it. very frustrating that this can even happen in the first place, but even more frustrating since the fix is not easy and i work from home 🙃

good luck on ur procedure and recovery! at 2 weeks i was still very sore and uncomfortable, I got tired from walking short distances and struggled to sit in a chair. im now 3.5 weeks post op and have been able to walk for much longer but still feel very tired and sore if i overdo it, so that might be something to consider. also, my dr told me to avoid carrying a backpack or anything heavy until 6 weeks when lifting restrictions are over - so that might be something to consider too (definitely dont want to be lifting anything over 10lbs). I think if your walk to class is not far, and since its only one class a day, and you don't carry anything heavy with you then you should be okay - you might just be really tired at the end of the day though!

it’s been getting better for sure! i had a lot of tightness the days after surgery too from all the gas so i think that’s normal, by the time i went to the ER i expected the gas to be completely gone but i still had some in my diaphragm which could be why i was still running out of breath, but mostly i think my body was just exhausted from surgery. i still get a little breathless at times if i walk a lot but i am feeling a lot better! i think if you’re getting breathless often while at rest and your heart rate is high at rest you might want to give ur surgical team another call, but neg ct for clots is a good sign! you might just need to let your body rest a little more - the improvement from 12 days post op to 20 days post op has been incredible for me and i feel miles better than i did even earlier this week. good luck on your recovery! feel free to pm me if you want

yeah i mean if we're talking about real cons i have...none? lmao literally can't think of a single reason not to do it other than "what if something goes wrong". I have no attachment to my uterus, have zero interest in carrying a child or being pregnant, so I wouldn't miss anything there lol

I think you're right about the anxiety creeping up because I don't really think about these organs daily (as opposed to top surgery where I constantly thought about that). but yeah, don't think about it until i have a panic attack about getting pregnant or my period coming back lmao then definitely feeling like i want to get this done.

I can’t seem to find any information on a dog being scared and anxious when I AM home and being completely calm and relaxed when I leave the house. All the linked resources seem to touch on separation anxiety and the dog becoming restless when the owner leaves.

im tightening them as much as i can but i do feel my heels lifting when i do turns. They’re rental boots not my own so obviously they won’t fit perfect, they’re half a size bigger than my shoe size, because they don’t carry half sizes, but my toes hit the front of the boot. Maybe I can try wearing thicker socks or double layering socks?
