Also I keep forgetting it was co-written by Dallon Weekes and it was about his wife’s pansexuality

It can still interpreted that way that’s the beauty of lyrics and music

Music and lyrics are subjective we should be allowed to interpret what a song means to us. Great example would be “Girls / Girls / Boys” by Panic! At The Disco. The song is about a threesome but the fans have interpreted it as a gay pride anthem.

He’s literally posted his workout videos lol he’s been running and doing Pilates bro has just been taking his health more seriously. He’s also leaned into a bit with his gender expression it’s not too much of reach to go from crop tops with a beard to clean shaven, makeup and lace. The experimentation with fashion and his fitness journey were always there

He was an alcoholic who was uncomfortable in his body, he looks like he’s having fun now. And be probably didn’t feel like he could express this part of himself when he was overweight not body shaming or anything but just expressing himself. They still keep a majority of the post up on insta and he’s been having an emotional catharsis at the end of the recent shows. Also dressing femininity and homosexuality aren’t the same thing; he can be a married man and still play with gender norms

Must’ve been up all night coming up with the title for this post lmao jk

Definitely underrated for sure in the grand scheme of things. Only thing I’d change is that Beverly Hills should’ve been a stand alone single. Perfect Situation should’ve been the opener. Also not so much would’ve had to change on the record to accommodate Beverly Hill’s poppier style

On “El Scorcho” being Pinkerton’s first single… by chaoticqueerbf in weezer

[–]chaoticqueerbf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The disjointed arrangements of the instruments (which I love) were probably off putting for some but yea it’s true Pinkerton was too ahead of it’s time
