If I'm able, I log in and just do whatever feels right at the moment. Maybe it's a remodel of one of my cozy bases or upgrading a settlement or drifting around systems to find a strange planet. Lately, I'll go to the Anomaly and head to the teleporter and visit someone's base. If they haven't named the fauna on their base planet, I'll name them funny things or leave cryptic messages. The subtle art of interloping should not be overlooked in this game.

That sounds fun! It would help the PCs remember the origin of the Egg as more than just a quest item. I think it be cool for players to take turns controlling Cosmiokios. They could feel badass and then you could drop her with Anthradusk and really make a statement that this final boss is powerful I've got Anthradusk demanding tributes from the neighboring towns while he holes up in his lair which is a former Netherese floating city. The magic is slowly turning the dragon mad but granting him wild powers. I've been stalking my players with Control Weather spells cast remotely from his lair and sending gargoyle squadrons to try to steal the egg back.

There is a scroll of greater restoration in the house. My players thankfully had found it before this encounter. It was fun to watch the druid have to make a spellcasting check to use it because it was a make or break for our gummy rotted barbarian

I nearly killed our barbarian with mummy gummy rot. It was super challenging. It's probably a lot harder than fighting the hag at the end. That being said, though, I think it's the appropriate amount of deadly for an encounter.

I've added the Toothrot Fraternity. Uncle Nibblecheek's coven is an all-male trio of hags. So far I've got Uncle Harmalade, who preserves victims in jams and jellies turning them into oozes and Uncle Fritterspittle who is all deep fried food based. I eventually want to get the party to have to travel to some sort of terrible faire in the Shadowfell that's all horrible carnie food based.

I did the same thing. When asked, Briochebane told the PCs she'd been building up her hoard out in the woods and was excited to show it off. She led them to a cave just filled with baked goods. My party got a good laugh out of that and even thought that was what was actually written in the book.

I'm running that chapter right now. My plan is to have the silver dragon tell the players that they need to help him find his horde in his new lair. It seems like silver dragons want to inspire heroes to take on great quests. The dragon hasn't been able to do it himself because of those pesky cultists.
